Frontier Technologies Wins Fifteenth Major Award For Best Internet & TCP/IP
Networking Software

MEQUON, WI--May 8, 1995--Frontier Technologies' SuperTCP product family has
won its fifteenth award in two years by being honored as the exclusive
winner of the Communications Week MAX award for TCP/IP
applications.Frontier Technologies' SuperTCP product family includes
Internet, TCP/IP, NFS, and X Server connectivity software products
designed for maximum productivity and usability.

Frontier Technologies' most recent product SuperTCP Prohas received three
awards so far this year from respected computer networking publications.
LAN Magazine recognized Frontier Technologies as its 1995 Product of the
Year in the TCP/IP category. This follows on the heels of the Frontier
Technologies' capture of Data Communications Tester's Choice Award for
TCP/IP products, announced in February. Also this year, Frontier
Technologies' SuperTCP/NFS won the PC Magazine UK Edition Editor's Choice
Award. In addition, the company's SuperHighway Accessproduct was the only
product to receive a five-star rating in Computer Life Magazine's March
review of internet access products.

"We found Frontier's SuperTCP Pro the most versatile TCP/IP software
package, supporting the broadest diversity of user network and protocol
environments, while providing a rich array of features," said
Communications Week reviewers in describing how they selected Frontier
Technologies' SuperTCP Pro out of eleven leading TCP/IP products they
tested.

"We recently compared fourteen TCP/IP packages for the Microsoft Windows
environment. Frontier Technologies SuperTCP Pro was our pick from an
impressively wide field of candidates. This product is the Swiss Army
knife of the TCP/IP client: It has an implement for every application,"
stated the editors of LAN Magazine.

"The networking world is full of good products- so we have to look for
great products, ones that have distinguished themselves from the rest of
the pack.

We searched far and wide for future network legends that are smart, flashy,
creative and that arrived on the market at just the right time," LAN
Magazine's Editors said in describing how the 1995 Products of the Year
were selected.

"SuperTCP Pro from Frontier Technologies Corporation took top honors
overall, thanks largely to a very simple installation routine and broad
range of general-purpose and Internet access applications," Data
Communications concluded.

"SuperTCP/NFS is a comprehensive set of TCP/IP tools with well-designed
user interfaces and a profile option which makes the programs easier to
configure and use. The email program is a bonus, and the ability to share
printers and modems, together with NFS server support, means that the
package could be used to configure a self-contained LAN," PC Magazine's UK
Edition reviewers commented.

"When you surf, most software suites make you take out a new tool every
time you want to do something different. Want to paw through a Gopher
site? Then grab the Gopher client. Feel like surfing the Web? Then pull up
the Web browser. Frontier Technologies' SuperHighway Access moves a bit in
the right direction by integrating both tasks under one interface. Even
better, it lets you intelligently organize your favorite Internet spots,"
said Gregg Keizer in describing why SuperHighway Access was selected as
Computer Life Magazine's exclusive five-star award winner.

were evaluated in four basic categories: setup and general operation,
general applications, firewall compatibility, and Internet applications.
