New AT&T products and services are all within your reach

June 6, 1995 -- NEW YORK -- AT&T today introduced the first in a series of
new and enhanced products and services for its consumer long-distance
customers featuring easy-to-use technology for a variety of lifestyles and
special pricing for AT&T customers.

The new AT&T offers range from electronic bill paying on a personal
computer or on a home TV screen to a two-line computer telephone that
includes powerful call management features to improve productivity of
those who work at home to voice-activated long-distance calling by
speaking one of up to 20 names or places whose phone numbers are stored in
the AT&T network.

A nationwide advertising campaign showing consumers that AT&T understands
their needs debuts tonight. The advertising showcases a broad array of
high-technology choices with an anthem that says "It's all within your
reach." The ads depict AT&T services enriching consumers' lives and have
the tagline "Your True Choice."

"We are drawing from the full breadth of AT&T -- long distance, consumer
products, computers, wireless services and AT&T Bell Laboratories -- to
meet consumers' needs in ways that no other communications company can,"
said Joseph P. Nacchio, president of AT&T's Consumer Communications
Services unit. "People's reach no longer has to exceed their grasp -- all
the power of communications can be delivered virtually anywhere, anytime,"
Nacchio said. "We have learned from more than a century of delivering
world-class long-distance service that technology makes many things
possible. But what is most important to customers is making technology
useful."

Extensive AT&T consumer research indicates that people want help
controlling and managing busy lives; special care and support as they
adapt to new technologies; convenience in connecting to the special people
in their lives; and easy access to information and entertainment
services.

The following products and services are designed to support consumer needs,
and additional announcements are planned for the coming weeks.

Better control and management of busy lives:

A fast and efficient electronic bill-paying capability available now
through AT&T CheckFree(R) Services on a personal computer with a modem.
CheckFree also will be available for the first time on a home TV screen as
part of the AT&T HomeCenter System in late summer. The service eliminates
the time and hassle of writing and mailing payments. AT&T long-distance
customers get a bonus of additional checks every month (5 extra for the
personal computer application; 10 for the TV use).

The new AT&T Computer Telephone, available in late summer, connects
directly to a personal computer, providing sophisticated call-management
features and two-line, speakerphone capability. It enhances productivity
for people working at home by giving them almost instant access to
customer records stored in their computers with a couple of key strokes,
moments before they even answer that customer's call. AT&T long-distance
customers will receive a 10 percent discount off the $199 price when the
phone is purchased through membership in AT&T's Home Business
Resources(SM)

New paging services as well as a special offer (one month free of local
paging after six months of service) for AT&T long-distance customers. The
new enhancements will include the FlashPoint wireless pager available
later this summer. The pager has the smallest full-display alphanumeric
device in the U.S., capable of displaying graphics as well as providing
expanded memory and access to over 128 categories of news and information.
AT&T customers can redeem AT&T True Rewards(R) points for AT&T Wireless
paging service fees.

"Time Manager," an enhancement to AT&T True Connections(SM), a service that
gives AT&T long-distance customers a personal 500 number so their calls
can follow them virtually anywhere. "Time Manager," available this summer,
allows 500-number users to schedule in advance where they want their calls
to ring.

Convenient and simple ways to keep in touch:

AT&T VoiceLine(SM) Service, voice-activated calling that allows you to
simply dial an 800 number, enter your AT&T Calling Card number, speak the
name of the person you want to reach and be connected automatically -- all
for the price of a calling-card call. You can store up to 20 names of the
most important people or places you call. VoiceLine calls are eligible for
AT&T True Rewards points.

Automatic redial for international calls to 46 additional countries in 18
additional languages, bringing the total number of countries available via
AT&T International Redial(SM) service to 66 in a choice of 32 different
languages. This one-of-a-kind service gives AT&T customers a trouble-free
way to cope with busy signals and no answers when trying to reach loved
ones in other countries. Current customers and those who subscribe to the
service by December 31, 1995 will have the $3.00 monthly fee waived for as
long as they remain AT&T customers subscribed to the service. The fee
waiver will become effective by July 21 pending tariff approval.

Special care and support in selecting and learning to use new
technologies:

Nationwide availability of AT&T Home Business Resources, a free program for
AT&T long-distance customers providing members with discounts on selected
equipment, including 10 percent off the price of the new AT&T Computer
Telephone; as well as advice on technology via a helpline available
24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Home Business Resources demonstrates AT&T's
commitment to customer care by offering members a single point of contact
for their work-at-home needs.

Easy access to information and entertainment:

Enhancements to the AT&T ImagiNation Network, AT&T's on-line entertainment
network. The upgrades, available this summer, include 10 new sports,
children's and science-fiction games and a special 10 percent monthly
membership discount for AT&T long-distance customers.

All of the new services announced today are carried over the AT&T Worldwide
Intelligent Network, which is being enhanced to provide customers with
increased speed and reliability. Network improvements include technology
that will restore domestic long-distance phone service in less than a
second if there is a cable cut, as well as upgrades already installed that
more than double the network's call-handling capacity at each major
switching center. As part of AT&T's ongoing commitment to world-class
customer care, the company has established one number (1-800-336-TRUE) for
consumers seeking information on any of these products and services.
Various fees apply to the offers and availability may be limited in some
areas, subject to billing capability.
