COMPUSERVE ROCKS!

WITH AN EXCLUSIVE RELEASE OF A FULL LENGTH ALBUM

COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 19, 1995 -- Todd Rundgren is one of a kind, as his new
CD+ The Individualist proclaims. Excited fans from all over the world are
anxiously awaiting its release, set for later this summer. But for
CompuServe members the waiting is over.

In the first cyberspace release of an entire album, all 10 tracks of The
Individualist, full length and unedited, can be found in Todd Rundgren's
recently opened Music In(tr)Action Forum on CompuServe, the only worldwide
computer information service. Select one, some or all of the album songs.
And if you can't decide, 30-second sound bytes of every song are available
to provide a sneak preview. Download times range from 30 minutes to an
hour, depending on the length of the song, or an average of 11 minutes for
sound bytes. Total download time for the entire CD is approximately seven
hours, but will vary depending on modem speed. To access CompuServe
members should type GO INDIVIDUALIST.

The Individualist is the first album ever to be released solely on the CD+
format, which allows access to the audio content by a standard CD player.
The "enhanced" content, accessible via a computer CD-ROM drive, permits
listeners to combine and vary parameters such as style, mix and length of
songs to produce their own unique blends of music.

The Music In(tr)Action Forum opened earlier this month and offers
information about Todd Rundgren and the emerging world of interactive
music. Rundgren was among the first to produce music videos combining live
action and computer graphics. Now he joins CompuServe in creating a unique
forum that takes the emerging world of interactive music to new heights. A
variety of materials are available including MIDI and WAV files, video
clips and graphics, and information on systems applications and equipment.
In addition to managing and participating in the forum, Rundgren serves as
a CompuServe special consultant on interactive music. To access the Music
In(tr)Action Forum, GO IMUSIC.
