---------------------------------------------------------------------
ICAN - Integrated composite analyzer, version 3.0

ICAN was designed to provide a comprehensive linear analysis of
multilayered fiber composites. The analysis contains the essential
features required to effectively design structural components made from
fiber composites. ICAN has many features, including a dedicated data bank
of constituent material properties. Written in FORTRAN 77 for IBM PC

---------------------------------------------------------------------
CARRAC - A tool for combined analysis of reliability, redundancy,
         and cost

CARRAC assists the user in choosing an optimal subsystem which will
minimize cost. Each subsystem has associated reliability and cost
parameters. CARRAC uses these parameters to calculate and compare a total
expected cost for each subsystem. The method of calculation can be
selected from five different models that allow CARRAC to be applied to a
wide variety of cases. Written in Microsoft Quick-Basic for IBM PC series
and compatibles.

PROGRAM NUMBER: LEW-15952
DOCUMENTATION: $13.00 PROGRAM: $150.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------
PHASTRAN - Finite element model of conduction, convection, and
           phase change

PHASTRAN analyzes the heat transfer and fluid flow of materials undergoing
phase change. To analyze thermal systems that undergo such phase changes
requires the simultaneous solution of the equations of conservation laws
of energy, momentum, and mass, as well as an equation of state. PHASTRAN
presents a numerical procedure for solving such equations. Written in
APL2 for IBM PC series and compatibles running MS-DOS or OS/2. APL2
interpreter required.

PROGRAM NUMBER: LEW-16131
DOCUMENTATION: $38.00 PROGRAM: $300.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------
GEOSIM - Geophysical fluid flow simulator

GEOSIM is a numerical model which simulates geophysical fluid flow for a
wide range of problems. It allows for more accurate control over
experimental conditions and provides a complete data source for performing
diagnostic studies. GEOSIM is meant for experienced or professional fluid
dynamicists. Written in FORTRAN 77 for Cray series computers running
UNICOS.

PROGRAM NUMBER: MFS-28751
DOCUMENTATION: $16.00 PROGRAM: $900.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------
STASS - Skin-stringer tank analysis spreadsheet system, version 2.0

STASS was developed as a preliminary design tool that allows for quick
turn-around design and analysis of structural domes and cylindrical barrel
sections in fuel tanks. STASS is an integrated system of Microsoft Excel
spreadsheets that calculates critical buckling stress values and margins
of safety in fuel tanks with internal, integral T-stiffeners and
intermediate Z- frames. Written in Microsoft Excel for Macintosh
computers running System 7.x and for IBM PC compatible computers running
MS-DOS.

PROGRAM NUMBER: MFS-28981
DOCUMENTATION: $29.00 PROGRAM: $150.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------
PSIZE - Program to calculate space requirements of electronic designs

PSIZE calculates the space required for an electronic design by reading in
a parts list file and a file that contains the required area for each type
of part. A "reality factor" is applied to the calculated amount which
will take into account the inherent additional space required with any
layout. Written in AWK for Sun4 series computers running SunOS and IBM PC
and compatible computers running MS-DOS.

PROGRAM NUMBER: NPO-19065, NPO-19589
DOCUMENTATION: $13.00 PROGRAM: $100.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------
CURRENT - Program to calculate power requirements of electronic
          designs

CURRENT calculates power requirements of electronic designs by reading a
parts list file and a file containing the current required for each part.
The program also calculates the power required for the circuit at 5.5
volts, 5.0 volts, and 4.5 volts. Written in AWK for Sun4 series computers
running SunOS and IBM PC and compatible computers running MS-DOS.

PROGRAM NUMBER: NPO-19111, NPO-19590
DOCUMENTATION: $12.00 PROGRAM: $100.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------
COSTIT - A cost estimation program

COSTIT estimates the cost of electronic designs by reading an item list
file and a file containing the cost for each item. The accuracy of the
cost estimate is based on the accuracy of the cost list file. Written in
AWK for Sun4 series computers running SunOS and IBM PC and compatible
computers running MS-DOS.

PROGRAM NUMBER: NPO-19157, NPO-19587
DOCUMENTATION: $13.00 PROGRAM: $100.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------
PDENSITY - Program to calculate power density of electronic designs

PDENSITY calculates power density of electronic designs by reading a parts
list file, a file containing the current required for each part, and a
file which contains the size of each part. The program calculates the
ratio of milliamps per square inch for each part in the design. Written
in AWK for Sun4 series computers running SunOS and IBM PC and compatible
computers running MS-DOS.

PROGRAM NUMBER: NPO-19171, NPO-19588
DOCUMENTATION: $13.00 PROGRAM: $100.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------
DART - Digital signal processor for thermocouples

DART is a precise and fast method of converting voltage to temperature for
large temperature range thermocouple applications. The conventional
method of generating precise measurements required multiple high order
equations that were difficult to solve in real time. Written using the
Labview software for use on Macintosh and IBM PC computers.

PROGRAM NUMBER: SSC-00031, SSC-00032
DOCUMENTATION: $12.00 PROGRAM: $150.00
