DiAMAR Interactive Introduces Learning to See Creatively--Its Second CD-ROM
in Better Photography series

Latest title will take advantage of Watson-Guptill's distribution to
bookstores and libraries

Chicago (June 3, 1995)--DiAMAR Interactive today announced the release of
the second CD-ROM in its Better Photography Series, Learning to See
Creatively. The title--along with the company's newly signed relationship
with the well-known publisher and book distributor Watson-Guptill--is
being launched at the American Booksellers Association Convention.

In addition to Learning to See Creatively, Watson-Guptill will also handle
distribution to bookstores, libraries, and camera outlets for the
company's first CD-ROM title, Understanding Exposure, shipped late last
year. Understanding Exposure recently won the prestigious Home PC editor's
choice award as one of the Top 100 products of the year. Both CD-ROMs are
based on books by award-winning photographer Bryan Peterson, published by
Amphoto an imprint of Watson-Guptill.

"Learning to See Creatively is beautifully crafted. It applies just the
right amount of technology to Peterson's written word, creating the
perfect synergy between book and CD," said Harriet Pierce, VP of marketing
for Watson-Guptill's Amphoto imprint. We are very pleased to have DiAMAR
products lead our new media offerings. We think they've done an
exceptional job."

Learning to See Creatively accommodates many learning styles

Learning to See Creatively includes video and audio descriptions of
practical composition techniques plus more than 700 of Peterson's best
photographs. The CD-ROM is elegantly organized to lead participants on
lessons designed to accommodate a number of learning styles. A user might
decide to browse...

* ...the six Interactive Theaters which provide an excellent overview in
the basics of photography, with each offering a thorough lesson in topics
such as the Magic of Available Light, Expand Your Vision with Lenses, and
more. Moreover, the format is based on a pre-defined sequence which
closely follows the structure of Peterson's actual teaching seminars,
acting as an easy-to-follow introduction to interactive new media.

* ...over 14 Workshops covering 88 topics, that can be personalized
according to each participant's unique learning style. The power of
interactive multimedia allows viewers to delve into any particular topic
that interests him or her for a unique learning experience, and explore
related topics with the touch of a button.

*...the Before and After areas which showcase nearly 300 pairs of
photographs that demonstrate Peterson's techniques and strong sense of
composition. Peterson shows how the same scene and subject matter can
result in either a typical snapshot or a powerful graphic statement,
simply by altering the composition.

*...the five Galleries that contain hundreds of photographs, and see the
settings behind the beauty. This section guarantees to illuminate and
inspire.

*...the popular Photolab section enabling these viewers to experiment with
different exposures and lens settings, and see immediate results. By
simply clicking on various camera settings, the screen image changes
instantly, giving viewers powerful lessons in aperture, shutter, film
speed and lens selection.

"Photolab alone makes Understanding Exposure worthy of any photography
classroom." said Elmo Sapwater in his review of DiAMAR's first title,
Understanding Exposure, which appeared in the April 95' issue of
Professional Photographer: In response to increased customer demand, the
company has enhanced the Photolab in Learning to See Creatively, with a
new section on lenses, and dozens of new photographs.

Pricing and Distribution

Learning to See Creatively--both CD-ROM and book--is available for a
suggested retail price of $79.95. Amphoto will make it available through
their network of more than 10,000 outlets nationwide. The new CD-ROM, as
well as Understanding Exposure, can also be purchased without their
accompanying books for $59.95, SRP. Both titles are available on Mac and
Windows (one disk.)

"We firmly believe that making CD-ROMs easy to purchase in bookstores will
greatly benefit the new multimedia PC consumer, offering better product
variety in locations where they're accustomed to buying other how-to
materials," said David Roberts, president of DIAMAR Interactive.

DiAMAR Interactive, Corp--based in Seattle--has a long term mission of
becoming the market leader in the emerging Leisure and Lifestyle segment
of the CD-ROM market. In addition to its Better Photography Series. the
company has announced a partnership with Golf Tips Magazine to produce the
Better Golf Series--a set of How-to CD-ROMs for the golf enthusiast. The
titles, Breaking 100, and Breaking 90 will be released late this summer.
