Frontier Technologies and PSINet Introduce New Web-Surfing Software and
Internet Connection Package

Industry Leaders Sweeten $50 Bundle with Seven Days of Free, Unlimited
Internet Use

Herndon, VA - May 15, 1995 - Frontier Technologies Corporation and
Performance Systems International, Inc., (PSINet,) today announced a
seven-day free trial offer to try Frontier's award-winning software for
surfing the Internet and PSINet's high-speed Internet connection service
for individuals. If customers like the new $50 package, which normally
sells for $125, PSI will automatically register the new user and bill it
to their credit card.

"The number of people using the Internet has grown phenomenally in spite of
the fact that it's costly and time consuming to setup an account and get
on," said Dr. Prakash Ambegaonkar, Frontier Technologies president and
chief executive officer. "Developments such as the Frontier and PSINet
bundle should help accelerate the growth by making it easier, faster and
cheaper for mere mortals to get started." Called SuperHighway Access for
Instant InterRampSM, the new package allows individuals to create a new
account and gain access to the Internet in less than five minutes.
Additionally, the product offers a complete Windows-based utilities
package for E-mail, news group reading, World Wide Web browsing, Gopher
searching and file downloading.

"Instant InterRamp is the easiest, fastest and least expensive way for
people to get started using the World Wide Web ? the multimedia area of
the Internet," said Stephen Schoffstall, PSINet director of sales and
marketing.

"Until now, Frontier customers had to set up an Internet account with a
service provider like PSINet before they could install and use their
software. By teaming up, we've eliminated all the hassles to give people
everything they need in a single box to get on the Net."

Under the Hood Frontier Technologies' SuperHighway Access offers several
Internet utilities including a World Wide Web browser called WinTapestry,
Gopher, Gopher +, WAIS and CSO Phone Book, MIME E-mail, News Reader, ftp,
and VT 100 Telnet. SuperHighway Access is also the only product to provide
multi-session capability, allowing for more than 30 simultaneous browser
sessions to run at once. The folder-like interface, Internet Organizer,
lets the user set up custom file folders to store connections to any
documents, images or clippings of sources previously found.

InterRamp is PSINet's national, high-speed personal Internet connection
that offers the user certified hardware, software and service. InterRamp's
basic 28.8 bits per second (bps) port speed compares favorably with the
9600 bps industry norm. The comparison becomes more dramatic for users
taking advantage of the optional 64K bps ISDN line. All applications
reduce time to receive information up to four times and make graphics,
imaging and on-line video real dial-up applications.

SuperHighway Access for Instant InterRamp is available immediately for a
seven-day free trial period.

Frontier's software, regularly priced at $125, is now available for $50.
