INTERGRAPH TO PROVIDE GRAPHICS UPGRADE ON WINDOWS NT PLATFORM FOR EASTERN
UTILITIES ASSOCIATES

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 8, 1995 -- Eastern Utilities Associates (EUA) has
chosen Intergraph's AM/FM/GIS software to replace its mainframe-based
mapping and drafting system. EUA (headquartered in Boston) is part of
Intergraph's 100 Percent Club, a special designation for those customers
having all their AM/FM/GIS data in digital format.

The contract includes software, hardware, implementation services and
Intergraph's FRAMMEStation training program for rapid project start-up.
Graphics will operate on Intergraph's TD-3 personal workstations. The
AM/FM/GIS, built on the Microsoft Windows NT version of FRAMME with a
Sybase relational database, will support engineering, technical services
and distribution. According to Art Wildgoose, project manager, "FRAMME and
Windows NT are a good current and future fit that will help EUA achieve
its goal of single-desktop access and integration of key application and
enterprise-wide information."

Long-term, the GIS will result in organizational and operational changes as
it becomes an integral component of EUA's enterprise environment. "This is
a strategic undertaking representative of a long-term commitment to
improve the information and technical support systems that EUA needs to
effectively manage its power system," states Wildgoose. Intergraph
