After the success of their award winning first CD-ROM title, Gazillionaire,
a game of intergalactic wheeling and dealing, LavaMind is developing an
animated TV series based on the game.

They are collaborating with Dan Brecher of the Rothman Agency. Dan
Brecher is familiar with both the TV and multimedia industries, and has
worked on several projects, including the new Star Trek the Next
Generation CD-ROM with Spectrum HoloByte and Paramount.

The husband and wife team, Steven Hoffman and Naomi Kokubo, which formed
LavaMind a year and a half ago, are actively involved in developing the
animated TV series based on the stories and characters present in their
CD-ROM game, Gazillionaire.

This is a new working relationship between LavaMind, a San Francisco based
company, and the Rothman Agency, a Hollywood agency. Hoffman says, "It is
critical for small multimedia companies to reach out to Hollywood and form
relationships. Both have a lot to offer each other."
