MOLDFLOW ANNOUNCES SUPPORT FOR WINDOWS 95 AND WINDOWS NT

(Shelton, Connecticut -- May 17, 1995) Moldflow, the world leader in CAE
analysis software and services for plastics, announced its intention to
support Windows 95 and Windows NT at the Society of Plastics Engineers'
53rd Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC) in Boston, Massachusetts, USA,
May 7 - ll, 1995. "Both Windows 95 and Windows NT offer significant
benefits in terms of speed and stability and will deliver a major
improvement to the overall price/performance ratio to customers using
Moldflow's CAE analysis software on a PC," said Mr. Peter Kennedy,
Moldflow's director of CAE technology.

"This moves strengthens the position of Moldflow's Dynamic Series for
Windows as the PC-based CAE analysis software of choice for companies
seeking cost-effective and practical solutions," he said. "It also
highlights our commitment to customers already using the Dynamic Series
for Windows to optimize the design and manufacture of plastic parts."

"Both Windows 95 and Windows NT have been designed for advanced engineering
applications and their improved features will provide our customers with
technically superior CAE analysis software," said Mr. Ian Pendlebury,
Moldflow's Windows Project team leader. Moldflow was invited by Microsoft
to be a Windows 95 beta site and has undertaken a test and evaluation
program to ensure the operating system meets its stringent requirements.

Porting these applications to Windows 95 and Windows NT will allow Dynamics
Series users to take advantage of the following benefits: l) New features
such as GUI controls, property sheets, smart setup program and un-install
utility, and support for the new help system; 2) Pre-emptive
multi-tasking, multi-threading support, improved system responsiveness and
smooth background processing; 3) 32-bit file systems giving better
performance and use of long file names; 4) 32-bit device drivers giving
improved performance; 5) Improved system robustness and clean-up after an
application fails or ends; 6) Dynamic environment configuration reducing
the need for users to adjust their systems; and 7) Improved system
capacity, allowing multiple applications to run well concurrently.

The commercial availability of a new version of Moldflow's Dynamic Series
for Windows that supports Windows 95 and Windows NT is dependent on
Microsoft's release of Windows 95. Moldflow's Dynamic Series for Windows,
launched last year, was the world's first application of computer aided
engineering (CAE) optimization software for the plastics industry in a
Windows operating system. Customers use Moldflow's Dynamic Series to
optimize the design and production of plastic parts. This enables
customers to significantly reduce time to market, improve production
efficiency, save costs and deliver quality parts each time, every time.

Moldflow is the world leader in computer aided engineering (CAE) to
optimize the design and production of plastic parts and has a global
market share of approximately 80%. Founded in 1978, Moldflow is an
international company supporting customers in 46 countries through its
worldwide network of sales and support offices and distributors in the UK,
Europe, Asia and the USA. Moldflow's mission is to help industry to
produce plastics parts "fast and cheaper."
