TEXAS INSTRUMENTS EXECUTIVE TO KEYNOTE PC EXPO IN CHICAGO

Pallab Chatterjee, President, Personal Productivity Products Business of
Texas Instruments to Open PC EXPO Show in Chicago at McCormick Place East

(Fort Lee, NJ. June 14) -- Dr. Pallab Chatterjee, president of Texas
Instruments Personal Productivity Products business. will deliver the
keynote address on Tuesday, October 3, 1995. at 9 a.m., opening the Tenth
Annual PC EXPO in Chicago at McCormick Place East.

In his speech. "Mobility and Connectivity: Key Drivers in the PC
Evolution." Dr. Chatterjee will explore the evolution of the notebook PC
and its role in driving the networked society. Mobility and connectivity
will play key roles in giving users PC access anytime, anywhere. The
convergence of multitasking, plug-and-play capabilities of Windows 95 and
high speed PCI bus architecture with DSP capabilities will provide a
powerful foundation for additional notebook product differentiation. Dr.
Chatterjee will explore a range of notebook differentiators and the role
an in-depth understanding of user needs plays in a successful
implementation.

Dr. Chatterjee joined Texas Instruments in 1976 and was named a Texas
Instruments Senior Fellow in 1985. He was elected senior vice president
and chief technical officer. Semiconductor group and director of research
and development/technology in 1992. Dr. Chatterjee was appointed to his
current position as president of the Personal Productivity Products
business in January of this year. Personal Productivity Products include a
wide range of high performance TI notebooks. TI calculators and TI laser
printers.

Dr. Chatterjee has earned the University of Illinois Alumni Honor Award for
Distinguished Service in Engineering. He has also won the ISSCC Best Paper
Award and the President of India Gold Medal for highest scholastic
achievement. He is an Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers
(EEE) Fellow and received the J.J. Ebers Award and the Keys to the Future
Award from the EEE.

He has been granted more than 15 patents relating to integrating circuit
technology design and manufacturing. Dr. Chatterjee's articles have
appeared in more than 200 publications and he has been a guest speaker at
more than 25 conferences. In addition to his engineering degree he
received at the India Institute of Technology, he holds MSEE and Ph.D.
degrees from the University of Illinois. Urbana-Champaign.

Texas Instruments, along with other industry leaders, will display its
latest technologies and innovations at PC EXPO. Exhibitors will include:
Adobe, America Online, American Power Conversion, AT&T, Brooktrout
Technology, Dell, Digital Equipment Corp., GENICOM, Microsoft, Novell,
PKWARE, VisionTek. and Zenith Data Systems. The show floor will also
feature specialized pavilions focusing on leading-edge technologies:
networking, multimedia and the Internet.

PC EXPO in Chicago will be held on October 3-5, 1995 and will include a
conference program that is one of the most progressive and comprehensive
in the computer industry. There are 45 seminars this year for the computer
