QUALCOMM SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH NETSCAPE TO BUNDLE EUDORA ELECTRONIC MAIL

- Agreement unites the world's most popular Internet electronic mail and
World Wide Web browser in one package -

SAN DIEGO, CA (June 5, 1995) -- QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM)
announced today an OEM agreement with Netscape Communications Corporation
which allows Netscape to bundle QUALCOMM's Eudora Light electronic mail
software with their new Netscape Navigator Personal Edition Internet
connectivity package. This relationship, for the first time, will align
QUALCOMM's and Netscape's resources to give customers instant access to
the most powerful combination of software developed for the Internet.
Additionally, this move further expands QUALCOMM's presence in the
ever-growing Internet consumer market, and serves as the first major
Eudora Light distribution agreement in support of the company's three part
global e-mail marketing strategy revealed in April at the E-Mail World
trade show.

"By combining two of the most popular and proven software products for the
Internet at a very affordable price, we provide customers with an
outstanding value," said Craig Brenner, national marketing manager for
QUALCOMM's Enterprise Software Technologies group, QUEST. "This
relationship extends our ongoing commitment to deliver powerful solutions
for the Internet community." Netscape Navigator Personal Edition combines
the world's most popular World Wide Web browser, which in addition to Net
surfing capabilities, offers PC users one button access to the Internet .
By simply inserting a series of diskettes, entry-level users will be able
to have a live Internet connection directly to their home computer by
following a short on-line registration process which involves choosing an
Internet service provider from a list that includes UUNet, Portal, Netcom
and MCI.

In addition to providing easy and reliable access to the Internet, Netscape
Navigator Personal Edition will include QUALCOMM's very popular,
entry-level electronic mail software, Eudora Light for Windows. Eudora
Light is fully-functional e-mail software and includes such advanced
features as mail sorting, message handling, MIME support for sending and
receiving multimedia attachments and Windows NT and OS/2 support.

our users with one of the most popular electronic mail solutions available

Netscape Navigator Personal Edition for Microsoft Windows is available
through retail outlets, through Netscape's Online Store on the Netscape
home page (www.netscape.com), from Netscape reseller and OEM partners, or
directly from Netscape (415-528-2555). The estimated selling price will be
$39.95, which includes a 90-day warranty and customer support.
