GLOBAL REMOTE NETWORK ACCESS MARKET

ANALOG AND DIGITAL CONVERGE IN NEXT-GENERATION PRODUCTS

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- June 5, 1995 -- Telebit Corporation (NASDAQ:TBIT)
today announced an aggressive new product strategy designed to
significantly expand the company's presence in the global remote network
access market. This strategy blends Telebit analog and digital local area
network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) technology into integrated
remote network access systems.

Additionally, this strategy will provide the burgeoning client-to-LAN
market segment with a cost-effective and seamless solution, and expand
Telebit's Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) solutions.

Evolution to Digital Access Solutions

At the core of Telebit's long-term product strategy is the evolution of
current products to integrated digital remote network access solutions.
Telebit NetBlazer(r) dial-up routers and FastBlazer(tm) high-speed modems
will converge into a family of integrated digital access products.
Additionally, these new products will be designed so that Telebit and
third-party original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) alike can implement
them into their own remote network access systems.

"Networking continues toward the 'virtual LAN,' where a client can be ten
feet or ten time zones from a network and still have quick and efficient
access to databases, applications, printers and other resources," said
James D. Norrod, president and CEO of Telebit. "Our strategy for highly
integrated analog and digital products reflects Telebit's drive to create
next-generation remote network access systems for client-to-LAN and
LAN-to-LAN environments."

Client-to-LAN, ISDN, Frame Relay

Telebit will aggressively attack the client-to-LAN market segment with an
expanded line of digital modems and dial-up routers designed for seamless,
on-demand remote network access. These new products, based on NetBlazer LS
routers and the FastBlazer line of V.34 modems, will feature modular
architectures for LAN and WAN flexibility.

Telebit will leverage its expertise in digital remote network access
products, further penetrating the market with new routers that deliver
greater ease of use and functionality, while protecting customers'
existing investments in Telebit products. Telebit earlier this year began
shipping the first version of the NetBlazer LS-ISDN. Dual Basic Rate
Interface (BRI) add-in cards for central-site routers will be ship later
this year, followed by T1/E1 primary rate modules. Additionally, the
company now provides frame relay support through its recently released
NetBlazer 3.0 software, which comes standard with all NetBlazer routers.

Telebit Corporation is a global market leader in developing and
manufacturing on-demand, remote-access solutions for multiplatform
computer networks. The company's dial-up routers and modems are especially
well-matched to five key market segments: telecommuting,
business-to-business on-demand routers, nomadic computing, network access
providers, and industrial WANs. Founded in 1982, Telebit invented dial-up
routing with the original NetBlazer router, opening the door to on-demand
remote access. The NetBlazer family and Telebit's broad line of high-speed
modems are used by Fortune 1000 customers worldwide for financial,
industrial, medical, retail, government, and academic applications. The
company has offices in the United States, Europe and Asia, and markets its
products worldwide through value-added resellers, wholesale distributors
and OEMs.
