Trinzic Introduces ObjectPro 2.0

Object-Oriented Application Development Tool Substantially Reduces the
Learning Curve for Object Programming; Increases the Success Rate for
Object-Oriented Projects

Redwood City, CA, June 6, 1995--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
introduced ObjectPro 2.0, the new version of the Company's object-oriented
application development tool. Virtually every aspect of the product has
been enhanced for easy implementation of complete business objects.

"ObjectPro 2.0 delivers the right balance of ease of use and power for
developing object-oriented applications," said Bob Payne, Vice President
and General Manager of Trinzic's Application Development Group. "We expect
that Version 2.0 will be widely used for the development of substantial
client/server applications that require more processing power in addition
to GUI screens and data access. ObjectPro is ideal for these business
logic intensive applications," notes Payne.

"ObjectPro's ability to separate the GUI objects from the business objects
has enabled us to achieve the benefits of object-orientation throughout
the application, not just in the GUI. We didn't have to violate the
integrity of our objects during implementation, which has made our
application code very 'readable,"' said Larry Michalski, manager of
object-oriented deployment for Integrated Software Specialists, Inc. "I
can't think of an easier way to create totally compilable, object-oriented
C++ code."

Lower Learning Curve for Successful Object Implementation

The largest obstacle in developing object-oriented applications is the
difficulty associated with implementing objects. ObjectPro 2.0 features a
variety of enhancements designed to ease the process of completing
object-oriented applications. For example, Version 2.0 will also contain a
series of customizable "Wizards" that will automatically generate
ObjectPro code. The process of building certain applications will be
simplified by providing a program that prompts the developer for
information and then creates an ObjectPro application that contains all
the screens and code required to list, edit, update and add to database
tables.

ObjectPro 2.0 provides new, easy-access tools that will simplify developer
navigation throughout an ObjectPro application. Additional developer
interface enhancements include improvements in the method editor, the
debugger, floating toolbars in the window and report editors.

Improvements in Reuse Capabilities

As today's business applications become more demanding and complex, they
simultaneously require more difficult and time-consuming programming.
Trinzic's ObjectPro 2.0 software strives to ease this by offering new
features to improve reuse capabilities and subsequently help developers
avoid repetitious programming tasks. Version 2.0 includes an easy-to-use
browser, and encourages the reuse of classes, methods and libraries.

ObjectPro 2.0 will support Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) so that
developers will be able to create applications that embed OLE controls
(OCX and VBX). Additionally, ObjectPro applications will be generic OLE
containers, so that other OLE applications, such as Microsoft Excel, may
be embedded. Version 2.0 of Trinzic's ObjectPro software will also support
the use of Visual Basic Controls (VBX). This includes the use of tab
controls, spreadsheet controls, graphic controls and many others. As a
result of the support of VBX and OLE, users of ObjectPro 2.0 will see
significant increases in developer productivity.

ObjectPro 2.0 Supports C++ Code Generation, Enforces the Object Paradigm

The increasing popularity of C++ presents two crucial problems. First,
programmers proficient in C++ are in very short supply. Second,
applications programmed directly in C++ do not enforce the object
paradigm, and may yield applications that are not object-oriented.
ObjectPro 2.0 presents an ideal solution to both of these problems. Since
ObjectPro is easy to learn and use, any experienced developer can become
proficient in object programming by using ObjectPro. Second, Version 2.0
has the capability to generate C++ code, while strictly enforcing the
object paradigm. Developers are not required to be experts in C++ in order
to deliver C++ applications. Further, programmers who are already expert
in C++ can subclass and specialize ObjectPro objects from within C++
programs.

Multi-Platform Support

Trinzic is aggressively moving ObjectPro 2.0 toward cross-platform support.
In addition to Windows 3.1, ObjectPro 2.0 will support Windows NT and
Windows 95 (when available). AIX, Solaris, and HPUX versions are expected
to go to beta customer tests in the fourth quarter of 1995.

Pricing, Availability and System Requirements

Trinzic's ObjectPro 2.0 is currently in customer test and is expected to be
generally available in the third quarter of this year at a cost of $2995
per unit (with volume discounts available) directly from Trinzic
Corporation at (415) 591-8200 or through the reseller channel from the
network of Trinzic Partners. There is no charge for ObjectPro run-time
licenses.

Trinzic's ObjectPro development environment requires 8MB RAM and 15MB disk
space. Completed applications require a minimum of 4MB RAM. A 486-class
processor is recommended for development, and a 386-class or higher
processor is recommended for delivery. An ANSI compatible C compiler is
required for application deployment.
