New Release of Visual Systems' GUI Toolkit Simplifies and Speeds
Development of Cross-Platform GUI Applications

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - June 15, 1995 - Visual Systems Corporation today
announced that it is shipping Release 1.1 of GUI-Kit for Win32s and
Windows NT. GUI-Kit is a cross-platform GUI (Graphical User Interface)
toolkit for C and C++. In response to user demand, many "real-world"
usability enhancements have been added. In addition, the new release
offers significant performance improvements, additional compiler support,
and a hypertext-based on-line programmer's reference.

GUI-Kit has received a very positive response from its users. Mark E.
Wasik, Software Engineer at CACT in Houston, Texas reports: "With
GUI-Kit's object-oriented design, I found I did not have to be concerned
with C++ to create a true object-oriented program. The best part of
GUI-Kit is how it allows you to do rapid application development through
its resource files. Along with [Visual Systems'] excellent support I
completed the entire front end to my program in less than two months which
has over 700,000 lines of code."

Steve Tynor at Tower Technology echos these remarks, "We chose Visual
Systems' GUI-Kit because of its clean object-oriented design and true
Windows look and feel. Their technical support is top-notch -- questions
are answered promptly and the support staff really knows the product."

"In addition to superior performance, this latest release of GUI-Kit
further simplifies and speeds the development of cross-platform GUI
applications. Other products, such as XVT and MFC simply don't address
developers' concerns over the complexity of GUI development," said Dan
Syrstad, President of Visual Systems Corporation.

GUI-Kit supports 32-bit cross-platform development under Windows 3.x
(Win32s) and Windows NT. Versions for Windows 95, OS/2, and UNIX/Motif
platforms are scheduled to ship 4Q95. All major compilers are now
supported including Microsoft Visual C++, Borland C++, WATCOM C++, and
Symantec C++.

GUI-Kit for Win32s and Windows NT Release 1.1 may be purchased directly
from Visual Systems for $495. GUI-Kit comes with a 60 day money-back
guarantee and no runtime fees. Additional information is available by
