Vivo Software, Inc., of Waltham, MA, has announced Vivo TeleWork-5, the
first comprehensive visual and data communications suite for
telecommuters. TeleWork-5 includes Vivo320, Vivo's standards-based
personal videoconferencing software application, as well as capabilities
for high-speed wide-area-network data applications.

TeleWork-5 is a comprehensive visual and data communications suite that
includes personal videoconferencing, document sharing and file transfer
for collaborative work; and enables high-speed Internet access, high-speed
remote LAN access and fax/modem capabilities.

Vivo's TeleWork-5 was designed specifically for telecommuters and
teleworkers-- people who want to access their ISDN line for visual as well
as data connectivity, and who have the need for a well-integrated remote
communication solution.

TeleWork-5 includes Vivo320 v.1.5, IBM's WaveRunner ISDN board and all the
software drivers for high-speed data communications, Logitech's VideoMan
digital camera and MovieMan video capture card, DataBeam's FarSite data
collaboration application, speakers and an earpiece.

TeleWork-5 is approved for connection to public ISDN networks throughout
North America and in Europe.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

Vivo's TeleWork-5 starts shipping in June 1995. The product is sold direct
through Vivo and through selected network value-added resellers. The
suggested retail price for TeleWork-5 starts at US$1,495.

WHAT YOU NEED TO USE VIVO TELEWORK-5

In order to use TeleWork-5, you need certain things:
* A Pentium PC
* A PC graphics display adapter using the PC's local bus
  (PCI, EISA, or VESA)
+ Vivo takes advantage of graphics display adapters enabled for
  Microsoft's DirectDraw (DCI).
+ Vivo320 does not require a graphics display adapter with any sort
  of feature connector or VAFC.
* Two free ISA or EISA slots, not necessarily adjacent, in your PC
* ISDN Basic Rate Service provided from either
+ A telephone service provider or
+ A PBX or ISDN hub in your facility
* If you wish to use TeleWork-5 to access the Internet, you provide
  the approprate application software (such as Netmanage's Chameleon)
  and an account with an Internet Service Provider.
* If you wish to use TeleWork-5 for remote LAN access, you provide the
  appropriate client software and an account on your corporate LAN.
