INFORONICS PUTS THE JOHN WILEY & SONS GENERAL CATALOG ON THE INTERNET

Littleton, MA -- June 12, 1995 -- John Wiley & Sons, an independent global
publishing company, has made its general catalog available in TitleNet,
Inforonics' Internet catalog service.

Wiley's TitleNet catalog delivers a database of product information on
books, journals and electronic products that covers a wide range of
educational, professional, scientific technical and consumer information
needs. Users visiting Wiley's site in TitleNet will have access to a
catalog of over 8,000 active titles.

"We chose Inforonics to create our Internet catalog because they offered a
high-performance database and Internet delivery service that met our
special product information needs," stated Gwenyth Jones, Director,
Information Systems, at John Wiley & Sons. "We have a long established
association with Inforonics, and they have proven to be a quality provider
of information technology services."

Giving customers fast and efficient access to comprehensive product
information was a key project objective. By participating in TitleNet,
Wiley can offer its customers a browser of over 500 subject
classifications, as well as Boolean searching by author, title and keyword
anywhere in its catalog. Customers can retrieve a rich information
resource of bibliographic data, descriptive text, table of contents and
reviews. Wiley customers are further assisted in their search by a
TitleNet feature linking titles to other related components or series.

"Wiley's title information is maintained in TitleBank, an online database
system we developed, so we were able to get them up on the Internet with
minimum development," stated Candy Verhulst, Director, Media Applications
Development at Inforonics. "Because this database is highly structured,
Wiley could also take full advantage of TitleNet's sophisticated search
and retrieval capabilities."

Every one of Wiley's 8,000 active titles is dynamically linked to an online
form which customers can download, print and fax, or e-mail. The form can
be used to place an order and, with certain titles, request an examination
or sample copy. This level of customization was an important feature in
the development of Wiley's TitleNet application.

As a TitleNet subscriber, Wiley subcontracts the delivery of its Internet
catalog to Inforonics, where it is supported by multiple Internet
connections for high server reliability. Inforonics provides network
administration and full systems maintenance.

TitleNet is a commercial area on the Internet created and maintained by
Inforonics for publishers to electronically distribute information, such
as product catalogs and sales literature, and also generate customer leads
and sales. Launched in 1993, TitleNet now has 36 participating
publishers.
