Power Workstation and Client/Server to its Alpha-based product line. This
aggressive addition provides a robust, high-end system that combines
extreme computing capabilities with an unrivaled price/performance ratio.

The Telluride, based on Digital Equipment Corporation's 21064A Alpha
processor, is engineered for unprecedented performance and flexibility and
offers leading-edge technology features. Upgradable processing speeds of
200 and 275MHz are supported on the full-size AT form factor,
Aspen-designed motherboard. User-upgradable secondary cache can be
expanded to 8MB of 128-bit wide write-back cache. The Telluride has
128-bit access to the system RAM with two speed- and size-independent RAM
banks (60, 70, 80ns RAM).

The Telluride is configured with 6 dedicated PCI slots (3 are full-length),
one dedicated ISA slot, and one PCI/ISA shared slot. Two high-speed RS-232
serial connectors and one high-speed bi-directional parallel port are
included, along with a dedicated serial port for remote diagnostics and
maintenance. The Telluride fully supports Windows NT Workstation, Windows
NT Server, Digital UNIX and Digital OpenVMS operating systems. 

A fully configured Telluride 275 includes: a 275MHz Alpha 21064A CPU; 2MB
(15ns) secondary cache upgradable to 8MB; 2X CD-ROM; 1GB FAST SCSI-2 hard
drive; PCI FAST SCSI-2 drive controller; 32MB DRAM upgradable to 1GB; 4MB
PCI video adapter; 1MB FLASH ROM; professional 17" monitor (85KHz);
high-speed Ethernet PCI combo adapter; Microsoft Windows NT Workstation; 3
1/2" 1.44MB floppy disk drive; full-size Tower case; Keytronics keyboard
(AT); Microsoft mouse (PS/2); 339-watt power supply; and a 2 year warranty
on parts and labor. Telluride pricing starts as low as $9,994.00 and
ranges up to $14,607.00. 

The Telluride is also available as a fully redundant, hot-swappable RAID 5
Client/Server.

Options for the Telluride include PCI Video, PCI SCSI, PCI Ethernet, ECC
memory and Digital Equipment Corporation on-site warranty service. To
maximize versatility in system configuration and upgrading, the video,
SCSI, and Ethernet options have not been incorporated onto the board.

Volume shipment of the Telluride will commence August 1995.
