CeBIT '96 TO FEATURE NEW USA PAVILION FOR MANUFACTURERS OF SECURITY, CARD
AND ACCESS CONTROL TECHNOLOGY

June 30, 1995 -- (PRINCETON, NJ) -- The worldwide security services market
will reach US$ 53 billion in 1998, according to a survey by the
Cleveland-based market research firm Freedonia. At the same time, reports
Frost & Sullivan, European sales of computer chip cards are expected to
reach US$ 1.3 billion by 2000.

Reflecting growing demand for data and PC security systems and access
control--as well as increasing card technology applications--CeBIT '96
(March 14 - 20; Hannover, Germany) will include a USA Pavilion within its
expanded security industry exhibit sector. American participants in the
1200-square-foot Pavilion will have such neighbors as ADE, Verifone,
Eracom, Kryptokom, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens and 150 other global leaders.
American exhibitors will have the opportunity to reach new customers
looking to order these products and technologies:

SECURITY TECHNOLOGY: Data backup and protection; archiving and storage; PC
security systems and software; virus protection; network security;
security organization and consultancy; encryption systems; safety-related
air conditioning systems; over-voltage and lighting protection;
uninterrupted power supply technology; fire and explosion protection

CARD TECHNOLOGY: Smart-card and chip card systems; magnetic and plastic
cards; card coding and reader systems; card embossing equipment; card
terminals; card-based applications

ACCESS CONTROL: Access security and control; control consoles; alarm
systems; monitoring equipment and devices

The Security & Card/Access Control Pavilion is one of nine USA Pavilions
being organized for CeBIT '96 by Hannover Fairs USA. The others are:
Office Automation * Software * Microcomputers & Peripherals * Multimedia *
Networking * PC&C/Mobile Data Communications * CAD/CAM.

USA Pavilions, or group exhibits, organized for the past 10 years by
Hannover Fairs USA have proven highly effective for American manufacturers
entering the international marketplace through overseas trade show
exhibiting, regarded by many successful exporters as the most direct way
to open new sales and distribution channels.

"In addition to providing participants with furnished booth space," says
CeBIT's U.S. Project Manager Mette Petersen, "we offer administrative,
promotional, and logistical assistance before, during and after the show
so companies can put their efforts into marketing rather than the minutiae
of exhibiting."

The world's largest computer and communications trade show, CeBIT '95 drew
in March a record 750,000 attendees from around the globe and over 6,000
exhibitors. For more information on exhibiting at or visiting CeBIT '96,
