The NMAA Provides A Home for Your Home Page

July 5, 1995 (College Park, MD) -- The National Multimedia Association of
America, Inc., a national association for multimedia information and
networking, today introduced their new "Home Page Storage Program," a
service to help multimedia companies and professionals gain exposure on
the World Wide Web while saving time and money.

The World Wide Web, the multimedia section of the Internet, is one of the
hottest new ways to market your services to the world. It combines the
vast information of the Internet with the creativity of its users. The
NMAA Home Page Storage Program allows an individual or company to take
advantage of this resource.

The NMAA Home Page Storage Program provides storage space in an individual
directory for each participant's home page. From there, the participant
can create and design their own web page. For those companies or
professionals who do not have the time to create their own page, the NMAA
can give referrals to web page producers. The NMAA also gives the
individual or company a chance to gain credibility by placing the NMAA
logo on their web page.

With the cost of Internet access, hard drives and maintenance, creating and
storing a web page on your own can cost anywhere from $25,000 to $100,000.
The NMAA program makes advertising on the World Wide Web cost-effective.
This service costs only $250 per year for NMAA members, which is less than
placing an ad in a newspaper for one year. This means an individual or
company can market their products and services, in color and
interactively, on the World Wide Web for 48 cents a day!

"Multimedia is such a growing and changing field, it is difficult to get
your foot in the door," says Chris Williams, MIS Director of the NMAA.
"Having a home page on the World Wide Web gives you a chance to plant your
feet and let people come to you."

The program is available to both NMAA members and non-members. Yet members
have full use of NMAA On-Line, the official Bulletin Board System of the
National Multimedia Association of America. Other benefits include the new
NMAA Job Bank, classified advertising, the monthly magazine Point & Clock,
as well as educational seminars, discounts on hardware and software,
office supply discounts, and more.

The National Multimedia Association of America is a nonprofit trade
association for multimedia information and networking. The NMAA dedicates
itself to improving the knowledge and abilities of companies,
professionals and consumers of multimedia products.
