New National On-Line Job Bank Makes Finding Work Easy

July 18, 1995 (College Park, MD) -- The National Multimedia Association,
Inc. (NMAA), a non-profit trade association for multimedia information and
networking, today introduced the new NMAA On-Line Job Bank, a computerized
employment service that allows individuals to either post a resume and
attached multiportfolio or contact people they may wish to hire.

This national Job Bank is one of the first computerized job banks to allow
individuals to attach a multiportfolio with their resume. This
multiportfolio, which incorporates up to 3 megabytes of data, can contain
art, animation, compressed video, compressed music, or other work samples.
Now, professionals have the opportunity to show their talents as well as
their experience, and employers can select an individual according to
style and experience.

The NMAA job bank offers other benefits to both the prospective employer
and the professional seeking work. Instead of an employer interviewing 30
people for one position, they can use the job bank to select a few
individuals for interviews. At the same time, the professional will not
have to fight for a position with hundreds of applicants or go through
several interviews. Also, the Job Bank is accessible nationwide, so
members from Main to California will be able to use this service.

"The job bank is our way of making the interviewing processes easier for
both parties," said Kevin Yorke, NMAA's Executive Director. "Now, an
employer can find a qualified employee and an individual can find
employment without losing endless amounts of time."

The National Multimedia Association of America is a nonprofit trade
association for multimedia information and networking. The NMAA offers its
members a variety of services to aid in the use and production of
multimedia, including the NMAA On-line BBS, classified advertising,
teleconferencing, Point & Click magazine, and educational and training
seminars. Currently, NMAA membership stands at close to 10,000, with an
expected 25,000 members by the end of 1995. The NMAA is an association
that dedicates itself to improving the knowledge and abilities of
companies, professionals and consumers of multimedia products.
