Simply Solutions Updates Visual DLL

July 03, 1995 -- New York, NY -- Today, at Visual Basic Insiders Technical
Conference, Simply Solutions announced the availability of the new release
of Visual DLL, its flagship product for creating true Windows DLL's with
Microsoft Visual Basic

The new release is shipped to every Visual DLL user at no extra charge to
the customer. Among the feature list of the new 1.0a version are the
ability to create Windows "Version Stamp" information resources, the
ability to create true Windows "Call-Back" procedures, the ability to
create LibMain splash screens, and the ability to create true "reentrant"
function procedures. Visual DLL has been a tremendously popular product
since its introduction by Simply Solutions of Santa Ana, California at the
March VBITC `95 conference. Its ability to create true Microsoft Windows
DLL's with Microsoft Visual Basic without requiring development tools such
as a C compiler or the Windows Software Development Kit has been touted as
a major accomplishment by the Visual Basic programming community. The
company is currently endevoring in releaseing the Windows 95 version of
its product, which will be announced around the Microsoft Visual Basic 4.0
timeframe.

Visual DLL an add-on tool for Microsoft Visual Basic provides Visual Basic
programmers the facilities for creating the types of programs that were
previously not possible to create without using difficult programming
languages such as C and Fortran. Visual DLL provides the capability for
creating Windows File Manager extensions, Windows Control Panel `Applets',
libraries, add-ons and wizards for use with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft
Word for Windows, Microsoft Access, Borland dBase, and many other
high-level desktop applications. Since Visual DLL creates true Windows
DLL's, DLL's created with Visual DLL can even be called from low-level
languages such as C, Pascal and Fortran. To aid programmers that use these
languages, Visual DLL automatically creates C header files and Basic
`Declare' statements for access from third-party applications. In
addition, by providing Visual Basic programmers the tools for creating
true Windows DLL's, Visual DLL can be used to protect Visual Basic source
code by creating binary library modules for distribution to customers and
third-party developers. By placing Visual Basic code into a dynamic-link
library, the source code does not have to be given out to provide the
particular functionality of a module, thus for the first time providing
the ability for Visual Basic programmers to create their own third-party
libraries that can be sold without releasing source code.

Simply Solutions markets and supports Visual DLL. Simply Solutions is
committed to providing helpful and practical solutions for Microsoft
Visual Basic programmers and provide exemplary technical support to its
