Nancy Knight, Vice President of Information Provider Relations at
SilverPlatter, remarked "This agreement with The H.W. Wilson Company
signifies a joint commitment by our two companies to make information more
accessible in ways that meet the needs of our user community. We are
providing yet another option for information delivery."

Frank W. Miller, H.W. Wilson President and Chief Executive Officer, noted
"This is a natural extension of our partnership with SilverPlatter. It
allows us to provide our customers with the broadest array of search
options and access to Wilson databases, and continues our commitment to
our users."

Internet access to the Wilson databases is provided by SilverPlatter's ERL
Technology. ERL, which is based on client/server architecture, provides
subscribers with a choice of searching platforms: DOS, Windows, Macintosh
and UNIX. Subscribers simply load the retrieval software onto their local
machines, obtain a password and user ID from SilverPlatter and with their
full Internet connection can have seamless access to the Wilson
databases.

Since the same SPIRS (SilverPlatter Information Retrieval System) software
is used to search both local and remote drives, it is transparent to the
end-user whether they are accessing databases stored on CD-ROM or hard
disk drives at their location or whether they are accessing the databases
stored at SilverPlatter. Additionally, WinSPIRS, SilverPlatter's software
for the Windows environment, provides the capability of cross database
simultaneous searching regardless of the database location.

With Internet searching, libraries can augment their existing Wilson
collection without incurring hardware costs for additional CD-ROM drives
or towers and they can more easily upgrade to a network environment
without the need for setting it up in-house. Disc management is also
simplified since updates happen automatically and the possibility of lost
or stolen discs is eliminated.

SilverPlatter subscriptions to Wilson databases via the Internet are the
same as their CDROM counterparts. Prices are based on the number of
simultaneous users. Thirty day trials are also available.

Thirty-day trials or subscriptions to any of the Wilson databases via the
Internet can be initiated by any of the following methods:

* Send a request to info@silverplatter.com
Complete name and address information is required
  as well as database name.

* FTP a trial order form at
  ftp.silverplatter.com/literature/tryform.txt

* FTP a trial order form from SilverPlatter's home page at
  http://www.silverplatter.com

* Contact SilverPlatter or your local distributor.

When SilverPlatter receives your request, they will send you further
information including user ID and password for the database(s) of choice.

Once a request has been initiated, the appropriate ERL retrieval software
needs to be installed on the local workstation. Users can choose one of
the following methods to obtain the ERL software of choice:

* Copy the software from SilverPlatter's Resource CD (available free of
charge). The April '95 version of this CD has the ERL retrieval software
for all searching platforms and are easily installed by following menu
instructions.

* FTP the software from SilverPlatter's home page
  (www.silverplatter.com).

* FTP the software from SilverPlatter's
  FTP Server: ftp.silverplatter.com - or ftp.192.80.71.12
