America Online, ABC Sports and NFL Enterprises Announce the Launch of an
Exclusive Online Area to Showcase "Team NFL"

ABC Sports Will Produce the First Official NFL Online Service

Vienna, VA, September 18, 1995 -- ABC Sports and America Online have
reached an agreement with the National Football League to create a unique
three-way partnership by which AOL will become the exclusive online
provider for the NFL during the regular season, and the official online
site through the playoffs and the 1996 Pro Bowl game. ABC Sports will
produce the online area for the NFL, which will be called "Team NFL."

The official "Team NFL" area, which will launch on AOL in October, will be
accessible through the 1996 Pro Bowl and will provide information to fans
throughout the season.

The announcement was made today by Jonathan Leess, Vice President of
Production Planning, ABC Sports; Ted Leonsis, President of America Online
Services Company; and Ann Kirschner, Vice President of Programming and
Media Development for NFL Enterprises.

Team NFL will reside in its own area on America Online's Sports channel and
will include message boards, exclusive live chat events, team profiles and
information, player stats, game schedules and other information. As part
of the NFL's interactive service, fans who want to vote for players
selected for the Pro Bowl will be able to cast their votes online via
AOL.

"We are delighted to be the exclusive online service for the NFL," said Ted
Leonsis, President of America Online Services Company. "ABC has played an
invaluable role in this partnership, and we are pleased to bring the
excitement of the NFL home to our members."

ABC Sports, under the umbrella of the Capital Cities/ABC Multimedia Group,
has been online providing America Online members with instant programming
access, as well as other multimedia applications, since 1994.

"ABC Sports is thrilled to join forces with the National Football League
and AOL to bring the NFL -- one of the worlds premier sports -- to our
users," said Mr. Leess. "Our agreement with the National Football League
again confirms our commitment to quality programming in the interactive
online market."

Ann Kirschner, Vice President of Programming and Media Development for NFL
Enterprises, said, "Our launch on AOL extends the NFL's leadership in
cyberspace. Working with our broadcast partner, ABC Sports, Team NFL on
AOL gives football fans more ways to follow their favorite teams and enjoy
the games."

In addition to the official NFL online area, previous ABC Sports online
areas include the 66th Major League All-Star Game; the official Major
League Baseball area through the 1995 World Series; the official NHL
Stanley Cup area; Super Bowl XXIX; the ABC Sports Equibase Winner's
Circle, an interactive horse racing information source; and Major League
All-Star Balloting, in which baseball fans on AOL had the first-ever
interactive opportunity to participate in Major League Baseball's All-Star
Fan Balloting. ABC Sports maintains an extensive area on ABC Online
dedicated to ABC Sports' programming and personalities.

The first sports league on the Internet, the NFL also produces Team NFL,
its site on the World Wide Web (http://nflhome.com).
