ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS LIMITED ANNOUNCES NEW VERSION OF EXM MAIL

VERSION 3.1 OF POPULAR X.400 AND X.500 MESSAGING PRODUCTS OFFERS
MULTI-WINDOWING AND WIN 95 COMPATIBILITY

Westlake Village, California; September 11, 1995--Enterprise Solutions
Limited (ESL), provider of complete X.400/X.500 messaging solutions, today
announced the scheduled October release of EXM Mail v. 3.1. EXM, or
Enterprise Xtended Mail, is available across all popular platforms:
MS-DOS, MS-Windows, Apple Macintosh, Unix tty, and Motif. EXM is a
corporate-wide messaging solution for geographically dispersed LANs and
WANs, which can significantly reduce management and maintenance efforts
and costs.

Version 3.1 of EXM Mail offers several new enhanced features. Mail messages
are stored in folders, and EXM Mail allows the user to create up to 65
personal folders to help organize messages. The new multi-windowing
capability allows the user to view and work with up to twelve of these
folders at a time in the Multiple Window Display Layout. A typical user
might have their Incoming Mail, Outgoing Mail, Personal Folder and Waste
Bin Folder open on the screen, and drag and drop messages from one to
another as required. Whichever folder is currently being used is
highlighted. The user-friendly features of EXM Mail allow a user to set
his own preferences, making the job of managing mail at the desktop
greatly simplified.

Version 3.1 of EXM Mail is also able to run under Microsoft Windows 95.
Those companies which begin migrating to a Win 95 platform need not lose
their X.400 messaging capability; EXM Mail v 3.1 runs on their existing
platforms and enables Win 95 users to stay connected!

EXM Mail provides an easy-to-use client/server design and native X.400 to
the desktop. Creating an enterprise-wide messaging system allows
organizations to use e-mail to automate tasks and take control of the flow
of information. Fully conformant with X.400 and X.500 international open
systems standards, EXM Mail offers scalability, reliability, security,
administration, and directory services.

The increased bandwidth and much higher processing speed of host-based
servers in a client/server environment enable efficient handling of a
higher volume of messages than is possible with LAN-based packages. There
are no limits to the type of text that can be included in an EXM message
-- binary files, spreadsheets, databases, software programs, graphics,
images, voice -- all are delivered to the recipient in their original
format without any additions or alterations.

EXM provides a sophisticated security capability for both sending and
receiving messages. Password security is separated from regular system or
network log-in, and additional access restrictions can be controlled from
the EXM Administration module. An optional security add-on module provides
an even higher level of security, including options for encryption,
digital signature, and authentication.

EXM incorporates a Directory application program which provides access and
management of both personal and enterprise-wide Directory databases.
Complex X.400 addresses can be simplified by specifying and referencing
"alias" names, or nicknames, which are used to build a set of mail
distribution lists. The Directory is closely integrated with the EXM Mail
Send application; at the press of a button, a user can immediately access
both personal and enterprise-wide directories at any time while composing
a message!

Enterprise Solutions also provides complete X.500 Directory Services. All
of the functions and services needed for white and yellow pages Directory
access are provided by EXM/DS, a complete directory searching and
administration program based upon the X.500 standard. The hierarchical
architecture is flexible, allowing the system administrator to distribute
information stored in the database over the entire network. This makes
each component of the database more manageable and increases performance,
while allowing the user to access the system as if all of the data were
stored in a single location.

Enterprise Solutions also offers two Message Transfer Agents (MTAs). The
EXM/DMTA, or Department MTA, is used at distributed sites and locations,
or for small installations. The EXM/SMTA, or System MTA, is for use in
centrally located and high performance sites.

EXM Mail v 3.1 is scheduled to begin shipping in October 1995. Client
pricing begins at $45 in quantity; server components start at $695 in
quantity.

Enterprise Solutions has been offering a complete, enterprise-wide
messaging solution for moving information since 1991. EXM Mail consists of
X.400 User Agents with P7 protocol and Message Store, full X.500 Directory
Services, complete Mail Administra-tion, 1988 X.400 Message Transfer
Agents, and a family of mail-enabled add-on products for workflow and
productivity. An early adopter of ESL's X.400 and X.500 messaging products
was the U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) in
Washington, which standardized on Enterprise Solutions' X.400 client
products for their mail system. Enterprise Solutions is supplying EXM Mail
X.400 and X.500 products for the Defense Message System GOSIP contract.
