HP UNVEILS NEW WEB OFFERING

Network_City to Offer HP Networking Product and Service Information for an
International Audience

Palo Alto, California. August 28, 1995 -- Hewlett-Packard Company today
unveiled Network_City, a new World Wide Web site that will offer users
timely information on HP networking products and services.

Anyone who has access to the World Wide Web can use Network_City to obtain
information on HP's networking solutions, including HP JetDirect print
servers, HP AdvanceStack hubs and switches, and adapter cards for 10- and
100-Mbit networks.

Network_City is expected to go on-line Aug. 31. The site can be reached
directly at http://www.hp.com/go/network_city, or through HP's
company-wide web site, Access HP.

Implementation of the new web site will take place in phases. The following
services/items will be available right away:

Product information - Network_City will carry the latest information on HP
networking products, includingproduct overviews, press releases, data
sheets, whitepapers, application notes and contact information.

Support information- Network_City users will have access to contact
information, drivers and softwareupgrades, as well as answers to
frequently askedquestions.

Network_City Cafe- A fun place to go for contests, promotions, success
stories, free demos and shareware.A limited number of "hidden giveaways"
and prizes alsowill be available to Network_City Cafe users.

In the future, Network_City also will tell users about upcoming events,
training programs and new products.

Network_City is being designed with HP's worldwide audience in mind.
Information eventually will be available in a number of languages. An
international team of HP professionals will continually examine the
functionality, content and overall look and feel of the new site to ensure
that it's user friendly in every major city around the globe.
