Client/Server Superbowl at Software Development '95 East

September 13, 1995, Washington, D.C. -- Software Development '95, October
2-6 in Washington, D.C. is gearing up for its biggest east coast event
ever! The Client/Server Superbowl will be one of the premier SD events, to
be held on Wednesday evening, October 4, featuring Powersoft, Borland,
Microsoft, Gupta, Symantec, IBM and Oracle.

Each company will bring their best development team to put their Visual 4GL
tools to the test. Specifications, designed by Christine Comaford, PC
Week, Amy Johnson, InfoWorld, and John Taschek, PC Week, will be handed
out that evening, and the showdown will begin at 7 pm. Watch on giant
screens as the teams use the power of their tools to get through the
design specs in 1 hour.

The seven participating companies will use the operating system of their
choice operating on Pentium 90 PCs. Each companies' team of 2 will load
their software and tweak their machines before the crowd arrives at 7 pm.
Jerseys, referees with whistles, free company t-shirts and promotional
items, and a sea of fans all add up to an exciting sporting event for
attendees and press alike to judge the teams and the power of their tools
for the best live client/server application development solution. The
winning team will be chosen by the participating audience.
