SIRIUSNET TO PROVIDE LOW-COST, NATIONWIDE INTERNET ACCESS USING THE
CONCENTRIC NETWORK

Scottsdale, AZ (August 22, 1995) -- Best-selling software publisher Sirius
Publishing, Inc. announced today it will soon move into cyberspace as an
Internet service provider with the launching of SiriusNet, a nationwide
information and entertainment network.

Using the high-speed, high-quality Concentric Network, which is owned and
operated by Cupertino-based Concentric Research Corp., SiriusNet will join
the ranks of national Internet service providers. SiriusNet is due for
release August 28.

"Sirius Publishing has built loyal customer relationships by providing
innovative multimedia products based upon quality and value," said Richard
Gnant, Sirius President and CEO. "SiriusNet will allow us to extend these
relationships into the next generation of information and entertainment
technology -- the Internet."

SiriusNet will give customers a low-cost, high-speed, reliable local-dialup
connection to the Internet in both graphical and text-based formats.
Customers will have access through the more than 130 local access
telephone numbers of the Concentric Network. Services will include: access
to more than 10,000 Usenet groups, use of a popular World Wide Web
graphical browser, global chat, file transfer, telnet, e-mail and other
Internet services. Customers get 24-hour, 7-days-a-week technical support
with their subscriptions.

By choosing the Concentric Network as its backbone, SiriusNet customers
will also have access to the only nationwide network of dedicated lines to
the country's electronic bulletin board systems, of BBSs, which are
specialized on-line services with unique content, interfaces, and
personalities. While consumers have traditionally relied on expensive
long-distance access to the rich content of BBSs, SiriusNet customers can
connect to the BBSs on the network with their local dial-in connection.

"We are pleased that Sirius chose the Concentric Network to host its
national service," said Henry R. Nothhaft, Concentric's President and CEO.
"As the need for information grows, we see companies like Sirius, which
have a handle on distribution of software and data both on-line and
through retail channels, as being best-positioned to grow and prosper in
this new digital age."

Such nationwide Internet access providers as SiriusNet play a pivotal role
in a rapidly expanding market. The NPD Group's latest "National Survey of
Hardware Ownership" reports that households accessing the Internet's World
Wide Web alone increased 50 percent from April to May, passing the two
million household mark.

The same report estimates that as of April, five million households
subscribed to a major on-line service, an 11 percent increase over the
number of subscribing households in the previous quarter.

Since it introduced the CD-ROM multipack concept 18 months ago, Sirius has
produced consistent best-sellers like the company's 5-Ft. 10-Pak Special
Edition, which was recently ranked No. 1 in CD-ROM multipack sales by
market researcher PC Data.

Sirius Publishing, Inc. is a leading multimedia technology developer and
marketer with headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona and operations in the
United States, Canada, and Western Europe. Sirius Publishing's products
are sold in more than 35,000 stores in 70 countries in the direct mail and

of $40 million.
