UNISYS ANNOUNCES PLUG-AND-PLAY INTERNET CONNECTIVITY SERVICES

*** Washington D.C.-based Century National Bank, among the first to tap
Unisys for the new services, sees the Internet as an inexpensive way to
reach out to new customers. ***

BLUE BELL, PA, AUGUST 29, 1995 -- Unisys Corporation today announced Unisys
Internet Connectivity Packages to help businesses, government agencies and
schools quickly access and benefit from the Internet and the World Wide
Web (WWW). The new packages comprise the industry's premier services and
Internet products and represent a simple and cost-effective Internet
access solution for users. The packages also present a significant
opportunity for Unisys to leverage its broad multivendor integration
skills: By 1997 more than one million servers, up from 40,000 today, will
be connected to the WWW, according to industry analysts.

Unisys Internet Connectivity Packages enable users to:

* establish a home page and publish information on the WWW,
* send and receive electronic mail and files over the Internet,
* create a secure Internet gateway for electronic commerce,
* access other Internet servers to view and download information,
* cost-effectively connect many users through a single gateway.

"Organizations around the world are scrambling for a presence on the World
Wide Web. What they're finding is that establishing the right connections
-- and developing the best solutions -- are more complicated and often
more expensive than anticipated," said Gerry Gagliardi, president of
Unisys Global Customer Services. "Unisys Internet Connectivity Packages
provide plug-and-play connectivity. We work with clients to determine
their requirements and then deliver and install a tested solution using
the finest products from the premier suppliers, such as Sun."

"Unisys Internet Connectivity Packages are a great start for embracing the
Internet and meeting the needs of a hungry market," said Shannon Lane,
senior consultant of the Internet Program for INPUT, a worldwide IT
intelligence and consulting firm.

A New Way to Serve Customers

Century National Bank, a community bank operating in Washington D.C. and a
new Unisys client, has selected Unisys to establish the bank's Internet
presence. Century purchased a 50-user Unisys Internet Connectivity
Package, consulting, design and implementation services, and electronic
commerce software. Among the services, Unisys is performing a business
needs and security analysis and will oversee the development of Century's
home page. Initially, customers will be able to send e-mail messages to
Century and retrieve information about the bank and its services and
products. In the future, a range of additional banking services, such as
applying for credit and checking account balances, will be available.
Century's home page and initial Internet services will be available in
early October.

"We believe the Internet is changing the way banks conduct business and
interface with their customers. For instance, we're investing in Internet
services as an alternative to building new branch banks. The Internet is
much less expensive and far more liberating in terms of who can access us
and when," said Paul Schaus, senior vice president and chief financial
officer, Century National Bank. "Unisys Internet Connectivity Packages are
a cost-effective, comprehensive solution for quickly establishing an
Internet presence. Plus Unisys offers a unique combination of services and
financial industry expertise that makes them a natural partner for helping
us integrate our Internet activities into our existing business
environment."

A Best-of-Breed Approach

The packages feature a comprehensive range of services and best-of-breed
products for connecting PC, Macintosh and Unix local-area networks (LANs)
to the Internet. Services include Internet needs analysis and security
assessment, technology consulting, home page design, planning, system
design, integration, applications setup, installation, training,
maintenance and other support services. Unisys is basing the packages on
Sun Microsystems's Netra Internet Server, building upon Sun's leadership
position (56 percent market share) in the Internet server marketplace.
Unisys also is including Sun's FireWall-1 software for security and
Netscape client/server software for publishing on and navigating through
the WWW.

"We're very pleased that Unisys selected the Sun Netra Server as the
platform for their Internet Connectivity Packages. We're delighted to team
with Unisys to pursue this exploding market," said Neil Knox, vice
president of Sun Microsystems Computer Company's U.S. Reseller Channel.
"With Unisys Internet Connectivity Packages, Unisys is combining its
proven multivendor integration skills with the leading Internet server
technology. Users will find this a very attractive solution for accessing
the Internet."

Unisys is offering standard packages for 10, 50 and 250 concurrent Internet
users. The 10-user package includes the Netra server, monitor, keyboard,
FireWall-1 software, Netscape software, and configuration and installation
services. The larger packages include high-speed networking products,
further ensuring seamless Internet connections. In addition, Unisys will
customize the packages to meet unique client requirements. Plus clients
can choose from a long list of options, including Netscape Netsite
Commerce Server software and a suite of popular web authoring tools and
other browser software products. Future enhancements will include the
availability of Sun's SunScreen SPF-100 and HotJava products.

Unisys Network Enable, the company's worldwide multivendor network
integration unit, will integrate the packages into clients' existing
network environments and will establish the connections. Network Enable,
one of the fastest growing top-tier network integrators, specializes in
building and supporting custom open network solutions that meet clients'
business and technology requirements.

Unisys best-of-breed approach underscores its philosophy to provide clients
with the finest solutions available, regardless of who manufactured them.
This is in stark contrast to others whose primary interest is in selling
only their own products.

The Internet is the fastest growing phenomena of the information age. It
currently comprises more than 50,000 networks, 160 countries and 20-40
million users and carries approximately one billion messages each month.
Some 1,300 companies are requesting an Internet address each month, up
from 300 per month in 1993.

Pricing and Availability

Unisys Internet Connectivity Packages are available now from Network Enable
by calling 1-800-448-1424, prompt 4. Pricing ranges from $18,500 for 10
users to $71,200 for 250 users.
