Cadenza Demo README
=======================================================================

Cadenza is the first affordable Graphic Oriented sequencer for the IBM
and compatible computer. It contains many powerful and innovative features
such as graphic controller 'drawing' and a truly useful piano-roll note
editor. In the note editor lengthening notes is as easy as tugging on the
end of a note bar with a mouse. Of course, you can also enter duration as
measure/beat/tick values too. Cadenza also gives you an event list style
editor and a measure oriented song editor. Cadenza has a fully mouse-driven
modern interface for speed and a quick learning curve. However , the PC
keyboard is not ignored at the expense of the mouse. All features are
also available via the keyboard, with the exception of the graphic controller
drawing. Cadenza has support for MIDI files and system exclusive data. Cadenza
supports MIDI and Roland FSK sync as well as Music Quest's intelligent FSK,
SMPTE and MIDI Time Code syncs. Song position pointer is also supported for
syncing to external MIDI devices.

Run the Demo and see how good sequencing on the IBM PC can be. Before you can
run the Demo you must first install it to a hard disk or a floppy diskette.
This is accomplished via the CDSETUP.EXE program on the Demo Disk. It will ask
you for your display adapter and the drive or path to install to. Once
installed the Cadenza demo will be ready to run on your system. You can start
the Cadenza DEMO by entering either 'DEMO' or 'CA' and pressing return.
If you need to select a non-standard interrupt number or port address for
your MIDI card, you should start the DEMO with the S option (for example -
DEMO S). The demo will prompt you for the new values.

When you are in the DEMO, as in Cadenza, help is available by hitting F1. We
have included an abridged tutorial on your disk. The file is named, 'DEMO.DOC',
and is on your demo disk.

The DEMO is a fully functioning version of Cadenza, with the exception of
File save abilities.

Enjoy!

A full working copy of Cadenza is only $199.95 Suggested Retail Price!
