	ķ
pE is an ASCII text editor that operates in a text window
environment.	The windows (up to 20) may be sized, moved,
zoomed, and colored differently. File size is limited only
by memory. Word processing features include word wrap at
right margin, left, center, and right justification. Over
140 functions. Mouse (or keystrokes) can be used to mark,
cut, copy, paste, scroll, and DRAG text around. Shift
cursor keys will extend block marks.	Boxes and lines can
be drawn with single key strokes around marked areas. Pull
down menus, Pop Up Help system. Fully documented.
Programmers features include regular expressions, brace
match, autoindent, autotab, macros and much more. Very Fast!
	Ľ

pE runs very well under Microsoft Windows. Under 3.1 it
will run in enhanced mode and provide a windowed
environment within windows allowing up to 20 files to be
	  viewed and edited simultaneously.

A 'point and shoot' file 'chooser' allows easy reference to
edit files and the more common file management facilities of
	  rename, delete, and change directory.

pE has very easy to use line and box drawing capabilities.
By marking an area of the screen and then pressing a single
key, any one of 9 different box or line styles are drawn.
Lines that intersect are drawn with the correct intersection
characters. There is a graphic mode, which redefines the
keyboard so that minor repairs to boxes, lines, and drawings
can be made without having to memorize or look up the alt
key combination for the PC line drawing characters.

A hypertext like facility that allows embedded file
references in text to act as 'links' provides invaluable
	  systems documentation for your programs.

pE provides for the editing of both text and binary files.
Using its hexadecimal mode, any file format may be viewed
and edited in standard hex dump format.

pE - Professional will be released in December 92. This new
version will use all available memory allowing the editing
	  of multi-megabyte files!

	  Hardware/Software requirements:

IBM or compatible PC, PC/XT, AT or PS/2. DOS 3.0 or
higher. Hard Disk recommended but not necessary.
Any display adapter, 256K of memory.
