                RETRIBUTION

PART 4 BY THE CHOIR BOYZ TEAM.....................

"Some things haven't changed, I see." said Slayer as he
witnessed the circus that was performing below him. "It'd be
nice to see those two get along just once." Scorpio nodded in
agreement. "But they've never used a weapon against each
other." he said, "Either they actually like each other or they
fear that they'll get pistol whipped by the ladies." Slayer
could not contain himself with this last statement and roared
at the vision of Black Widow and Lynx slapping those two
silly. He knew that both men were strong headed but did not
stand a chance against the females of the group. "They did
join up once," Scorpio noted. "It was during the time that
Hawk went mad." Slayer's eyes gleaned. "So I HAVE missed
something!" Scorpio assured him that he had and proceeded to
tell him the story.

"I had arrived late to the Warzone Terrain, so much of this is
not first hand. From what I understand, the situation went
something like this......"

It was in the fall of '93, when the young recruits listened in
awe and fear to the voice of Scarecrow. It was not Scarecrow
that they feared, but his plan. "The Plan" was what he liked
to call it. The plan was risky. The plan was dangerous. The
plan was lethal to the recruit that made the slightest
mistake. At stake were the lives and souls of all those in
attendance, as well as those that had ventured off to the vast
corners of the Wastelands. There was an urgency in
Scarecrow's voice that perplexed those that knew him, and
frightened those recruits that did not. He spoke of complete
unification and the need to put all vendettas aside. Enemies
would have to be comrades, and a "total" effort from everyone
would be necessary to carry out the mission so meticulously
designed by the squadron leaders.

Just hours before, Scarecrow had called for an emergency
meeting of the leaders of the three existing squadrons.
Seated at the marble table in the Recruit Chambers were the
three leaders whom had planned every intricate detail of the
operation. Eliminator, leader of the "Unequivocal Nemesis"
squadron, sat quietly and occasionally rubbed his chin. His
eyes seemed lifeless and stared off in space, but the others
knew he was calculating and recalculating every aspect of the
plan. Osprey, long time leader of the "Shadow Casters"
squadron, peered at Eliminator. Osprey knew how important the
operation was, but he could not shake the feeling that
Eliminator would turn on him and his squad at the most
unpredictable moment. Osprey believed that the plan was the
last thing on Eliminator's mind. Osprey feared that the plan
could be manipulated into an opportunity for Eliminator to
strike at him, again. He was right to be cautious. Scarecrow
acted like a mad man. Scarecrow paced the floor, cursed
Eliminator, and barked out orders to the members of his own
squadron, "Guns & Roses". He pleaded with his counter parts
to put aside their differences that were proving to be counter
productive. Then satisfied that he had done all in his power
to mend the breach, he slumped into his chair and said in a
low, soft voice, "That's all, gentlemen. It is time to act.
Let's do it!
