                RETRIBUTION

PART 17 BY THE CHOIR BOYZ TEAM......................

Trax's job was to monitor level 1 of the Wastelands. Trax was
very familiar with this area of the Warzone terrain and had
spent most of his time there.... rotting. He was becoming a
fine warrior, but the lack of medpacks, rations and tactics
took its toll on him. His job was to scour this level for any
signs of Hawk's location and report any camp sightings, bases,
equipment trails, etc. that may give a clue as to Hawk's
location and his assets. He was not to engage in battle.
The squadron leaders did not want any equipment left for Hawk
to use, especially from the recruits corpse.

Taraclese was a more powerful recruit, but a black cloud
seemed to follow him and bad luck came at the most
inopportune times. His job was similar to that of Trax, but
level 3 was his theater. Taraclese could hold his own in
combat with anyone, as long as he did not venture beyond level
3. He was to report his findings and use his own discretion
regarding a confrontation with Hawk. If possible, he could
"hit and run," but it was imperative that he survive.
Scarecrow had planned to use Taraclese in a "third wave" if
necessary.

Dire-Wolf.... This warrior had no reigns attached. He was on
a search and destroy mission. A member of the "Shadow
Casters", everyone knew that he would attack Hawk regardless
of the odds or his orders. His arena was level 4. If
possible, Dire-Wolf would breach Hawk's base and loot the
water crystals and equipment. Then he would reduce the base
to Walking Ooze fodder.

Fish was in charge of the Supply Room, accompanied by
Bankshot and Crazyshack. Fish had done well in his part of
recovering Eliminator's body. Now he was assigned to protect
the Supply Room at all costs. Under no circumstances was Hawk
to be allowed access to supplies. Bankshot and Crazyshack
would assist Fish and the three of them would thwart any
breach of the supplies. Everyone felt this was the best
assignment for them, as they had spent most of their time
there trying to restock it.

Buster had a free hand. He was the level 5 recon man. His
job was to hunt for a possible base on level 5. The Frontier
Log revealed Hawk had constructed a second base, "Don't Doody
With Me," but there was no intelligence as to the location of
the base. Most everyone agreed that this base was certainly
on level 5. Hawk would have no trouble traveling back and
forth from an Air Force Base and stockpiling landmines. It
would be a wise tactic and all were confident that this would
be in his little bag of tricks. Buster's orders were to
report any findings to the Complex first. He could then "cut
loose" if he was inclined to do so.
