Average solar flux was exactly the same last week as the week prior.
Values hovered around 80. The one day with active geomagnetic
conditions was December 2 when the A index was 20 and the K index
rose as high as five.

The solar flux is expected to stay right around 80 for the rest of
December. There may be a slight dip around mid month, but otherwise
there should be little change. Geomagnetic conditions may be
unsettled around December 17, and active to storm levels around
December 23, remaining unsettled to active through December 29.

Sunspot Numbers for December 1 through 7 were 15, 12, 11, 14, 14, 16
and 28, with a mean of 15.7. 10.7 cm flux was 79.1, 79.1, 81.8,
81.9, 80.7, 78.5 and 80.1, with a mean of 80.2.

The path projection for this week is from Minneapolis to Malta.

80 meters should be open from 2130z to 0700z, and 40 meters from
2000z to 2330z and again from 0300z to 0800z. On some days
40 meters may be open through the period from 2330z to 0300z.
30 meters looks good from 1500z to 1830z and again from 0530z to
0800z. Check 20 meters from 1430z to 1800z and 17 meters from 1530z
to 1700z. 15 meters might be open on some days around 1600z, but
the ham bands above 21 MHz do not look promising over this path.
