Thanks to the Northern Ohio Amateur Radio Society, Northern Ohio DX
Association, Ohio/Penn PacketCluster Network, AD1C, WB3JFS, WB4IUX,
K6OZL, N8AC, N6SS, NI6T, K8BN/7, W8XD, W8GUS, KR0Y, DL3KDV, DL6RAI,
G4DYO, GB2RS, IN3FDC and JE1CKA for the following DX information.

160 METERS. Preston, N6SS, reports that VQ9SS and VQ9QM should now be
active again on this band. Also, VQ9SS plans to be an entry in the
CQWW CW Contest on 160 meters and the ARRL 160 Meter Contest.

A3, TONGA. Paul, KK6H, returns as A35RK from November 24th until
February 7, 1995. He will be active from Tongatapu Island, (OC-049).
Paul will emphasize 160-30 meters CW and he will be an entry in the
following contests: ARRL 160 Meter (CW only) and CQWW-CW (160 meters).
QSL via KK6H or via W6 bureau.

A5, BHUTAN. Jim/VK9NS and Kan/JA1BK were in Thimphu last week trying to
work out details for a possible future DXpedition from A5. Reports from
G4DYO, who received a fax from VK9NS, stated that Jim says 27 QSOs were
made with JA under poor band conditions in the presence of the Deputy
Minister of Communications and his staff. Two Bhutanese ops made several
QSOs. A51MOC is now the call of the Ministry of Communications. Jim
finished his message saying "be patient". QSL via JA1HGY.

A6, U.A.E. Just a reminder that you will have a rare opportunity to work
A61AD on 160 and 80 meters around 0200z between November 11th and 16th.

ANTARCTICA. Nigel, VP8CMR, has just arrived at Halley Base and plans to
be very active on some of the bands. He has been worked on 14260 kHz
after 2230z. He plans on being active on 17 meters from 1500 to 1900z.
Nigel will be at the base until February 1995 (plenty of time to work
him). His QSL info is: Nigel, Halley Base, BAS, Via Port Stanley,
Falkland Islands.

BV, TAIWAN. Tom, WB8IUX, has received permission to operate as BV/WB4IUX.
The dates for his trip still are not set as of yet, but if he is not
active later this month it will be early in December. His plans for this
trip is to only operate on 80 and 40 meter CW (To help the deserving with
this zone and country). He may get on 20 SSB for a short period, just to
spread the word that he is operational and to provide operating schedule
information.

C56/G0MRF QSL INFO. Many have been asking for the address for this
operation because G0MRF is not in the current callbooks (but it should
make it in the 1995 callbook edition). For direct cards send to G8PDW
and bureau cards should still go to G0MRF.

CARIBBEAN DXPEDITION. Dieter, DL3KDV, will be active from J6, J8 and J7
starting this month. Look for him November 9-11th on St. Lucia (J6),
November 18th-December 1st on Bequia (J8, NA-025, including an entry in
CQWW CW as Single OP/All Band) and December 1-5th from Dominica (J7).
Dieter prefers QSL cards via the bureau, but should anyone prefer to
send direct, please remember that a oversea letter from Germany costs
2 green stamps!

FM, MARTINIQUE. F6AOI, F6BFH and F9IE will be active from November
11-27th, signing FM/callsign. Their operation will be on all bands
CW and SSB.

KH0, MARIANA ISLANDS. A group will activate KH0AM during CQ WW CW Contest
(November 26-27th) as a Multi/Multi entry. Some activity will take place
November 24-25th on WARC bands or RTTY. No exact frequencies have been
determined as of yet. The operators will be KH0AM/JE1CKA, AH0K, KH0AK,
KH0A, KI7QD, N1SID, WQ2P, AB5JJ, KC1XJ, WH6CQ, AL7NC, WI3O, KH0AZ and
JF1SQC. All QSLs go via JE1CKA, Tack Kumagai, P O Box 22, Mitaka,
Tokyo 181, Japan (Do not send any QSLs to KH0AM address please.)

P4, ARUBA. Jeff, KR0Y, will sign P40F from Aruba November 21-29th,
including an entry in the CQWW CW Contest in the Single-Op/All Band
catagory. QSLs via the bureau or 1995 CBA.

TK5EL OPERATION. From October 24-30th, DF4RD, DF4TD, DL5MFF, DL5MAE,
DJ0MBU, DL6RAI and TK5EL were active as TK5EL. They made about 8000
contacts, 5600 alone during the CQWW Contest. QSL cards for this period
will be handled by DF4TD, direct or via the bureau.

YK, SYRIA. WA2TMP, K3NA, K6ANP, N6TV, NW6P, W6OAT, W6OTC and W0YK will
activate YK0A between November 23 and November 30, 1994. This DXpedition
will be the first ever operation by foreigners officially sanctioned by
the Syrian Government. It was made possible with the help of Omar, YK1AO,
who arranged for issuance of the license and who secured an operating
site inside a Syrian PT&T training facility on the outskirts of Damascus.
The primary objective of the DXpedition will be to make YK available
on CW, RTTY and the low bands. A secondary objective will be to operate
as a two or three transmitter Multi/Multi in the CQ WW CW DX Contest.
The group foresees some SSB and WARC band operation as time and band
conditions permit. QSL via W6OAT.

ZB2, GIBRALTER. Dave, N7RK, will be active from ZB2 November 10 thru
November 15th. Call used will be N7RK/ZB2. Dave will be active on 80,
40, and 20 meters. He may try 160 meters if possible. He will be using an
older radio with NO WARC bands running just 100 watts and wire antennas.
He will not be able to operate split, so look for him on the usual DX
frequencies. QSL via CBA.

two operators from Seborga.
