Thanks to the Northern Ohio Amateur Radio Society, Northern Ohio DX
Association, Ohio/Penn PacketCluster Network, AC1O, AD1C, K2WR, WB4DBB,
WB4IUX, K4CEF & the Southeastern Cluster Group, KF8VW, NW8F, K9AJ, F6AJA,
SM5MX, JE2ERH and JH2PDS/1 for the following DX information.

3V, TUNISIA. A Japanese leading DX magazine, "The 59 magazine", reports
that four JA operators (JH2CFD, JF2EZA, JR2RVL and JL2OYI) are in Tunis
to instruct the locals on amateur radio operations, plus to setup a club
station. The club station has been reported to have a 15m monobander, a
tribander and will have some dipoles for low bands. The station will be
running a FT-726 barefoot. The club callsign will be 3V8BB. The club
station first appeared on the air November 19th at 0700z, on 20 meters
SSB. Most of the activities seem to be mainly around 14025 and 14195 kHz.
The JA instructors are to end the testing on the 20th, but nothing was
mentioned what would happen after this day. QSL via JF2EZA.

9N, NEPAL. Willi, OE7KWT, is now active as 9N1WT and is using 9N1KY's
station. He mainly uses 21270 and 14270 kHz around 0800z, but has been
heard on the 14226 DX net around 1145z. QSL via OE7KWT.

A22MN QSLS. KEN, WA8JOC, has had a computer crash and all the logs for
A22MN has been lost. Expect a several month delay on QSL returns. Bureau
cards will be answered but they will be last. Ken said it would be
March/April 1995 before he gets caught up.

BV, TAIWAN (Just a reminder). Tom, WB4IUX, has received final approval
for his trip to BV and now has a firm schedule. He will arrive in BV on
November 28th. He will operate for 4 days. He says to look for him on
the 29th, 30th, and December 1st and 2nd at East Coast sunrise between
3508-3512 and 7008-7012 kHz.

THE GOLIST CONTINUES (but under new reins)! Jay and Jan O'Brien (W6GO &
K6HHD) of the "The W6GO/K6HHD QSL Manager List" have decided to retire.
For the last 15 years both have been processing and collecting QSL
routes, making it available for DXers throughout the world. Also, they
have made it easier and quicker for a DXers, Contesters and the
PacketCluster communities to find a QSL route. A special thanks goes out
to Jay and Jan for their many years of dedication to this great service
(from OPDX and the Ohio/Penn Network). Jay has announced that Paul and
Nancy Smith, (N4FFO & KB4RGW), will be taking over the QSL Manager List
("GOLIST") including DX-BBS and the PacketCluster SYSOP interface
(SH/QSL and SH/GO).

GJ, JERSEY. Rich, K2WR, will once again be active from the Channel Islands
for the CQWW CW Contest. He reports that his operation will likely be low
power with activity on 160, 80, and 40 meters only and using the callsign
GJ/K2WR (or possibly GJ0/K2WR). QSL via K2WR. PLEASE NOTE: Rich mentions
while ALL his GJ/K2WR operations go to K2WR, his May 1994 40 meter WPX
operation as GH3DVC gets QSLed to GJ3DVC or the GJ bureau.

HZ, SAUDI ARABIA. HZ1AB will be active in the CQWW CW Contest as a
Multi/Single entry. The operators will be Terry/N4KT, Bengt/SM0CCE and
Thomas/SM0CXU.

J7, DOMINICA. Paul, K1XM, is heading up a Multi/Multi operation for the
CQWW CW Contest using the callsign J77J. The operators will be Paul/K1XM,
Charlotte/KQ1F, John/K4BAI, Walt/AC1O, Bill/G4WJS and Bruce/G4WVX. There
will be some CW, SSB and WARC band activity outside the contest. J77J QSLs
(which will be another stunning K1XM/KQ1F photo card) go to K1XM; all
others to the individual operators' home calls. SPECIAL OPERATING NOTES:
They will make a special effort to work Europe on 80 and 160 meters
(antennas will be 150'-200' above sea level with a straight ocean shot
to EU); also on 10 meters, propagation willing. They will try their best
(if they get an opening!) to work Japan, but it will be tough on those
bands with their antennas (there's a small hill between them and JA).
Check their sunrise at 1017z and their sunset 2129z.

TO, MARTINIQUE. F6AOI, F6BFH and F9IE who were recently active from
J8-land will now be active from Martinique (FM) as TO0P until November
27th. The JA group will operating 15-40 meters, CW, SSB and on the
WARC bands. QSL via F6BFH.

XV, VIETNAM. Rolf, SM5MX (also 4S7MX and 5Z4MX) is now active from Hanoi
signing XV7SW. Rolf has announced the following information:
"New legislation on amateur radio in the form it is known in other ITU
countries is expected to be passed in Vietnam in 1995. Pending this, I have
been granted a license to operate as XV7SW on certain fixed frequencies.
Here are my CW frequencies: 28016, 28019, 21016, 21019, 14016, 14021,
7033 and 3505 kHz. There is no QSL service in Vietnam. I have got the
DXbase log software and intend to handle incoming cards myself to start
with, as the mail service seems OK. I plan to print cards in December.
Here is my address: Rolf T. Salme, Embassy of Sweden, Box 9, Hanoi,
Vietnam." Reports from the Southeastern Cluster Group (SCG), indicate
that several of the users worked Rolf on 14016 kHz around 2300z. The
SCG also report that Rolf is making plans to be active in the CQWW CW
Contest on 3505 kHz, but running barefoot and low antennas.

ZL8, KERMADEC ISLAND. It was reported on the 14226 DX Net that Barry,
G4MFW (and he is also licensed as ZS1FJ), plans to operate from Kermadec
Island for a couple of weeks, starting in March (1st, 13th or 14th). It
was also stated that he has the license and that he will have a stateside
QSL Manager. There was no mention of bands/modes to be used, or how many
operators will be going.
