Thanks to the Northern Ohio Amateur Radio Society, Northern Ohio DX
Association, Ohio/Penn PacketCluster Network, WB4IUX, WB6GFJ, N6BIS,
N8AC, DL7VEE & DXNL and ZL1AMO for the following DX information.

8P, BARBADOS. Marian, KB9EKO, and Myron, K9JJR, will be active from
here starting next weekend through December 12th. Their activities on
the bands were not mentioned, but their callsigns will be 8P9CT and
8P9DC, respectively.

8Q, MALDIVES ISLAND. NODXA member Tom, DL7UTM (aka H44XO, 3D2XO, T21XO
and Y31XO) will be active as 8Q7XO during the holidays (presuming around
Christmas and New Years).

9H, MALTA. NODXA members Birgit, DL7VTZ, and Holgert, DL7VTM, will be
active from here (possibly Gozo Island) for two weeks at the end of
March 1995. They plan to be active in a CQWW contest. Both were active
earlier in the year from Zambia as 9I2M and 9I2Z.

BV, TAIWAN. (Update and reminder!) Tom, WB4IUX, has announced over the
weekend that he will definitely be active (as BV/WB4IUX) November 29th,
starting around 1215z. He will be operating from Tony's (BV2TA) shack.
During the three day stay, his primary frequenies will be 3508 to 3512
kHz (depending on local QRM). If 80 meters is closed to North America,
he will try 7008-7012 kHz. On his second day, he will try to operate
on 160 meters. On his final day (November 30th), Tom will be active on
20 meters SSB (around 14200 kHz) during the U.S.'s evening hours.

VI0, ANTARCTICA. Eddie, VK4EET, is currently active and operating under
the callsign VI0ANT. It is expected that he is going to be there through
the Antarctica summer (March 1995). He plans to be on the air everyday
from 1130z until 1630z on weekdays and whenever the bands are open on
weekends (especially during DX contests). His preferred mode is CW,
then SSB, but he can also work RTTY/AMTOR on request. He will be active
on all HF bands but mainly the low bands. Suggested frequencies:
CW - 3502, 7005, 14005, 21005 and SSB - 3798, 7070, 14190, 21295 kHz.
QSL via home call VK4EET. The XYL, Mina (VK4BMD), will handle urgent
QSL requests, with verification from Eddie. Bureau cards will be
answered on his return to VK4 in April 1995. Other operators are also
active from here using the VK0 prefix. Phil, VK4FPS, is active as VK0FPS
on SSB and all digital modes. QSL to VK3MA. He will be here until
December 1995. Lances, VK7ERZ, is active as VK0ERZ. He is occasionally
active on SSB and prefers to ragchew. He will be active until March 1995.

ZL7, CHATHAM ISLAND. Well known DXer Ron, ZL1AMO, informed OPDX that he
will be active from here, December 10-20th. Ron usually likes operating
on CW mainly on the low bands and the WARC bands but states he will also
be active on SSB and RTTY.
