  Thank you for down-loading ZapIT!

  ZapIT is a Nortons Desktop for Windows Script Utility to allow the Norton's
Desktop user to attach MultiMedia files to the startup of any program or icon.

Requirements *****************************************************************

    Software:
     Windows v3.1
     Norton's Desktop for Windows v3.0 (or later)
     MultiMedia files require software runtime/drivers/extensions and hardware
     to allow such files to be played in Media Player.

  Neither the author of this software or Symantec Corporation will take any
responsibilities for any damages that may occur with the use of this software.
  The files contained in ZAPIT31.ZIP are distributed "as is" and without any
expressed and implied warranties.  The user assumes the entire risk of using
the software.

Included Files ***************************************************************

  The following files are included in the ZAPIT31.ZIP file:
        ZAPIT.EXE       Configuration/Launch Utility
        ZAP.EXE	        Launch Utility
        ZAPIT.HLP       The ZapIT! Help file.
        README.TXT      The file you are reading right now)

Installation ****************************************************************
  1. Copy all files to the \WINDOWS directory.
  2. Execute ZAPIT.EXE file from the Program Manager or the File Manager without
     any extension to configure/attach/"ZAP" a multimedia file to a program/icon.
     (You can also "UNZAP" a program, view "Zapped" programs, Etc.)
  3. Place ZAPIT in front of the programs name and path, in its File Properties.
     (ZAP can be used in its place, its smaller, and quicker)
     EXAMPLE #1:  ZAPIT C:\WINDOWS\WORD\WINWORD.EXE
     EXAMPLE #2:  ZAP C:\WINDOWS\WORD\WINWORD.EXE
  4. That's It! Each time you execute a "Zapped" Icon, the multimedia file
     selected for it, will play as it executes.

Distribution ****************************************************************
  ZapIT! for Norton's Desktop may be freely distributed if the following
  conditions are obeyed: 
    1. Please distribute the program only in the original archived
       ZAPIT31.ZIP file.  Do not change this file or any files within.
