==================

To install Webford, unzip the .ZIP file using software such as
PKUNZIP or WinZip and run SETUP.EXE.

REGISTERING WEBFORD
===================

This is not free software. You may use the unregistered version of
Webford for evaluation purposes only for a maximum period of 30 days,
and after that you must either pay the registration fee or uninstall
Webford. If the version you are using is unregistered, the word
"(Unregistered)" will be displayed in Webford's title bar.

You can register your copy of Webford by credit card via a secure Web
page. For the latest details on how to register, visit Webford's home
page at:

   http://interplanetary.hypermart.net/webford

In order to register, you will need to provide your credit card
details, your e-mail address and the name of the company or individual
that you want the software to be registered to. After your payment has
been processed, you will be sent an e-mail message containing a
license code and confirmation of the name that the software is
registered to. These can then be used to license your copy of Webford
as follows:

   * Click Help on the menu bar to open the Help menu.
   * Click Register Webford to display the Webford Registration dialog
     box.
   * Enter the license code you have been given into the License Code
     box. This must be entered correctly.
   * Enter the name that the software is registered to into the
     Registered To Name box. This must be entered exactly as it
     appears in the e-mail message.
   * Click the OK button.

If the license code and name were entered correctly, your copy of
Webford will now be licensed for use on your workstation and the
word "(Unregistered)" will no longer be shown in the title bar.

A single license entitles you to use the registered version of Webford
on one workstation only. If you want to use the registered version of
Webford on more than one workstation, a license must be purchased for
each of those workstations. If more than five licenses are purchased,
you will be sent a "license file" via e-mail that removes the need to
manually enter the license details on multiple workstations.

WHY SHOULD I REGISTER?
======================

   * Webford is not free software. Webford is "shareware", which means
     that you may use the unregistered version of the software for free
     for a limited period only (30 days) in order to evaluate it. After
     that, you must pay for the software if you want to continue using
     it. If you do not want to continue using it, you must uninstall it.
   * The registration fee you pay will help to fund the ongoing
     development of Webford.
   * After registering, you will be entitled to download and install
     minor upgrades and service packs for Webford without having to pay
     any additional fees.
   * Registration will entitle you to free technical support via e-mail.
   * The unregistered version has a document size limit of 9k. The
     registered version has no document size limit.
