IT IS NOT "freeware", public domain software etc. After a free initial 30-day trial period, every user who wishes to continue using EASI-PLAN must register with the author, Invest-Tech, in order to upgrade to the latest fully-operational version. Invest-Tech Limited is a member of the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP). ASP wants to make sure that the shareware principle works for you. If you are unable to resolve a shareware-related problem with an ASP member by contacting the member directly, ASP may be able to help. The ASP Ombudsman can help you resolve a dispute or problem with an ASP member, but does not provide technical support for members' products. In return for registering, a user receives the latest release of EASI-PLAN with its 130-page spiral-bound printed manual (incorporating tutorial exercises etc.), gains access to full support etc. For details of the User Licence Agreement for EASI-PLAN, refer to the accompanying README.TXT file. The Registration Fee for EASI-PLAN Micro is 30 pounds (sterling or Irish) (or US$45) plus VAT of 6.30 pounds (at the Irish rate of 21%). If you wish to secure a copy of EASI-PLAN Lite, a more powerful version of EASI-PLAN, the Fee is 45 pounds (US$70). The corresponding VAT amount is 9.45 pounds. If you wish to secure a copy of EASI-PLAN Pro, the most powerful version of EASI-PLAN, the Fee is 60 pounds (US$95). The corresponding VAT amount is 12.60 pounds. DO NOT ADD VAT if: Your business is located in an EU State other than Ireland and you quote its VAT number when registering. *or* You are located outside the EU. DO ADD VAT if you are located (a) in Ireland or (b) in another EU State and are not registered for VAT. If located outside the UK or Ireland, add 10% for shipping etc. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, Access, MasterCard or Eurocard). This is the preferred method. You can also register via PsL and CompuServe. Bank drafts/checks, postal money orders and Eurocheques are acceptable provided that they are denominated in pounds sterling, US$ or Irish pounds. ********************************************************************** HOW TO REGISTER =============== Generally, we airmail copies of EASI-PLAN, manual etc. within 48 hours of receipt of payment. 1. It also offers useful advice in the form of text files on such topics as business planning, cashflow forecasting etc. as well as lots of other interesting stuff.
