1 cup melted margarine
2 cups light corn syrup
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
8 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chopped and divided pecans
1 cup grated coconut

Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring
constantly, until sugar dissolves.
Let cool slightly.
Stir in 1 cup pecans and coconut; pour filling into unbaked pastry shells.
and top with remaining 1/2 cup pecans.
Bake at 325 degrees for 55 min.
Yield: 2  9inch pies.
