KE#@> ...recipe? It piqued my interest. :)

I assume you're talking about the list of Czech recipes that I posted,
although I don't know if you mean the Polevka S Jaternimi Knedliky
(soup with liver dumplings) or the Svestkove Knedliky (Plum Dumplings),
or the Knedliky S Visnove (Cherry Dumplings). So, I'll post them all...

Polevka S Jaternimi Knedliky (Soup with Liver Dumplings)

1/2 lb. beef liver, ground
2 Tbsp. butter or beef marrow
1/2 garlic clove
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
Dash each of ground marjoram and mace
2 eggs
1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 quarts consomme

Cream ground beef liver with butter, garlic, lemon rind, marjoram, and
mace. Beat in eggs. Beat in bread crumbs, flour, salt, and pepper. Let
stand at room tempurature for about 1 hour. Shape into balls the size of
golf balls. Bring consomme to a boil. Drop in liver dumplings. Cover and
lower heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.

Svestkove Knedliky (Plum Dumplings)

   Butter
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 c. boiled potatoes, riced
12 to 15 plums, pitted
12 to 15 blanched almonds
1/4 c. cinnamon sugar
1 c. fine bread crumbs

Cream 2 Tbsp. butter until soft. Beat in eggs and salt. Gradually beat
in flour and riced potatoes, beating well after each addition. Dough
should be stiff enough to knead thoroughly. On floured board roll out
dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into 3-inch squares. Stuff each plum
with 1 almond. Lay 1 plum on each square of dough. Sprinkle with a
little cinnamon sugar. Fold dough edges over plum, encasing it
completely. Shape with hands into a ball. Drop dumplings into gently
boiling salted water. Simmer, covered, for about 10 minutes. Test for
doneness by removing 1 dumpling and tearing it apart. Remove dumplings.
Brown bread crumbs in 1/3 c. hot butter. Roll dumplings in buttered
bread crumbs. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Makes 6 servings.

Knedliky S Visnove (Cherry Dumplings)

2 1/4 c. about (one 1-lb., 4-oz. can) pitted red sour cherries
3/4 c. sugar
    Dumpling batter

Put undrained cherries and sugar in deep skillet and bring to boil. Drop
dumpling batter into boiling fruit from a tablespoon to make 4 to 6
dumplings. Cover and cook gently for 20 minutes. Serve at once.

   Dumpling Batter

   1 c. sifted cake flour
   1/4 c. sugar
   1 tsp. baking powder
   1/4 tsp. salt
   Grated rind of 1 orange
   1/3 c. milk
   2 tsp. melted margarine

Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Add remaining ingredients, mixing
quickly and lightly until blended; do not mix smooth.

Hope I sent you the right one.
