AWwD&NbEU done; thought I'd pass it along to you.

The batter was simple: two eggs, 2 1/2 cups of flour, and two cups of water.
Whisk *just* until smooth, and I added about a tablespoon of Five Spice and a
touch of lemon pepper.  Let it stand for an hour or so, so that the gluten in
the flour breaks down.

Then, it's a matter of finding things to dip in the batter and frying -- I used
my non-stick wok and corn oil, since one of my dinner guests is alergic to
my usual peanut oil -- , being careful not to let them burn.  This was
primarily a veggie tempura, asf
