2 cups pinto beans drained & cook
2 minced scallions
3/4 cup greated cheese
1/4 tsp parsley
1 tbl ground mild red chile
1/2 tsp salt
1 crushed garlic clove
2 tbls margarine

Mash the beans, add the other ingredients except the margarine and mix well.
Season with salt and garlic to taste
Heat the margarine in a chafing dish, add the mixture and stir until the cheese
is melted and the dip is bubbling.
Serve warm with tostados.
Note: leftover dip canbe refrozen and used as a filling for burritor or tacos
or as a layer for nachos.
