1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 tbs. baking powder
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1-1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup skim milk
2 egg whites, slightly beaten
3 tbs. vegetable oil

1. heat oven to 400 deg.
2. Lightly spray 12 medium muffin cups with non-stick cooking
spray, or line with paper baking cups.
3. In medium bowl combine first 5 ingredients; set aside.
4. In large bowl combine remaining ingredients.
5. Add dry ingredients;mix just until dry ingredients are moistened.
   do not overmix.
6. Fill muffin cups almost full.
7. Bake 20 to 22 min.  or until golden grown.
8. Serve warm or store tightly wrapped in freezer.
9.  to reheat, microwave on HIGH 30 seconds per muffin
