      Title:  Coconut Fudge
 Categories: Candies, Chocolate, Kids
   Servings:  1

      1 md Potato
      1 lb Powdered sugar
      1 ts Vanilla
    1/3 c  Grated coconut
      4 oz Chocolate candy

  Peel 1 medium sized potato. Cut in quarters. Cook it for 20-25 minutes in a
  pot about half full of water. Mash the potato in a bowl and add powdered
  sugar. Mix well using your fingers. Add vanilla and grated coconut. Pat the
  candy into an 8" by 10" buttered pan. Melt chocolate candy in a double
  boiler. Pour chocolate over candy in pan and cut into squares when it is
  set up.

      Title:  S'mores

  Toast 4 marshmallows on a skewer over a stove burner. Put skewer and
  toasted marshmallows on a plate or foil to cool. Break 2 small chocolate
  bars in half so you have four pieces. Put a piece of candy on 4 graham
  crackers and top that with a marshmallow and more candy. Cover with another
  graham cracker piece. Makes 4 s'mores.

      Title:  Popcorn Balls

       1/2 c molasses
       1/2 c corn syrup
     1 1/2 T margarine
       1/8 t salt
         8 c popcorn

  Cook molasses with corn syrup until thermometer reads about 270 degrees.
  Stir in margarine and a little salt. Have popped popcorn ready in a bowl
  and slowly stir in the mixture with a wooden spoon to coat all the popcorn.
  IMPORTANT: butter your hands lightly and shape the popcorn into balls the
  size you want. Set them on waxed paper and let harden. Wrap the ones you
  don't want now with waxed paper.

      Title: Zoo Sandwich

  Cut animal shapes with cooky cutters out of bread. Cut three shapes the
  same for each sandwich.. Spread filling (tuna, egg mixture, peanut butter
  and jelly, etc.) on one bread piece and then top with another. More
  filling, top with the third piece of bread. Sandwiches will stand up on
  plate so you can make a "circus".

      Title: Green Eggs and Ham

      1    Egg
      1 ts Milk
    1/2 sl American cheese

      3  sm  pieces of ham
      2  dr green food coloring

  Crack egg into bowl. Beat well with fork or whisk. Add milk and 2 drops of
  green food coloring. Pour into styrofoam cup. Gently add cheese and ham cut
  into small pieces. Place in microwave on a small plate. Microwave on high
  for 1 1/2 minutes. Check. Microwave an additional 30 seconds if egg is too
  runny. Serve with orange smiles (slices of orange)
