Well I  found a secret way to make gravy.. now this may sound silly to some 
but I put My Milk and Flour in a 2 cup pyrex measuring cup, then I take a pair 
well I use my electric hand mixer (beater( whatever you wanna call it... and I 
mix it all together so that all the lumps are out.. then I add it to my Juice 
from my meat.... as for cornstarch I have heard of it but you only use a 
teaspoon or so.. its hard to make it that way.... but once I see how the gravy 
is doing thickining wise (I usually put about , well up to the third line or 
so on the flour and then the rest is milk and this is hard cause I can look at 
the cup and just put it in there.. so to explain it is hard... but My gravy 
used to be awful till I stumbled onto making it with the measuring cup and 
using the hand mixer and then I use the hand mixer in the pan too.... hey 
Ladies... it works and I have never had a problem with gravy since... thats
how I do it...

me... sigh..
