          Grits-Sausage-Cheese Casserole

          4 c. water
          1 c. quick grits
          1 lb. HOT sausage
          1 1/2 t. garlic salt
          2 T. margarine
          1 egg, beaten
          2 c. sharp Cheddar, grated
          2 T. worcestershire
          1/4 c. milk
          1 more cup of sharp cheddar
            cheese, grated

          Bring water to a boil.  Add grits, return to boil, stir,
          turn to low and simmer for 5 minutes.  While the grits are
          cooking, crumble sausage and brown, drain well.  Add
          cheese, garlic salt, worcestershire, margarine and milk to
          grits.  Mix well.  Beat egg and add small amount of hot
          grits mixture to egg, stirring constantly.  Return the egg
          mixture to the pot of grits slowly.  Stir constantly.
          Slightly butter a 8 inch square of round casserole dish.
          Pour half of the grits mixture in the dish, add sausage
          and the remaining half of the grits mixture.  Cover and
          refrigerate for at least 8 hours.  Remove from
          refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking.  Bake at
          350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Add the last cup of grated
          cheese and cook an additional 5 minutes.  Serve and enjoy.
