          Pancit

          1/4 c. cooking oil
          2 cloves garlic, minced
          1 onion, sliced
          1 c. boiled pork or chicken,
            sliced
          1/2 c. boiled shrimp (sliced in
            long, narrow strips)
          2 c. cabbage, shredded
          1 large carrot, strips
          1 c. snowpeas, sliced
          2 sticks celery, thinly sliced
          1 bundle rice sticks (18 oz.)
          2 T. oyster sauce
          2 T. soy sauce
          1 1/2 c. broth
          1 t. salt
          Sliced onions for garnishing

          Saute' garlic in cooking oil until brown.  Add onions
          until cooked, add meat and salt.  Fry for 2 minutes.  stir
          fry vegetables, add one tablespoon soy sauce and 1
          tablespoon oyster sauce until the vegetables are cooked.
          Set aside.  Add broth and remaining soy sauce and oyster
          sauce.  Simmer for 5 minutes.  Add soaked rice sticks,
          mixing well until cooked.  Add vegetables with meat and
          mix well.  May garnish with green onions.
