          Dry Rib Seasoning:
          6 t. salt
          1 t. dried lemon powder
          2 1/2 t. black pepper
          6 t. sugar

          1/4 c. apple cider

shallow pan or dish and marinate 4-6 hours or overnight
(refrigerated and covered). Set up grill for indirect

beef broth into a drip pan, adding 1/2 cup of water if
desired. Remove ribs from marinade and drain, then
liberally apply the barbecue seasoning by rubbine it into
the meat. Place the ribs on the grill over the drip pan
and smoke for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours, adding to the fire as
needed. Mop ribs with barbecue sauce at least two to
three times during the final hour. Bones will hold nicely
in a low 200 degree oven for several hours, covered.
Serve with extra sauce, dirty rice and cornbread muffins.
