Installation

  1. Copy ZFACE7.ZIP to the same directory as PKZIP.
  2. Type: PKUNZIP ZFACE7 & press <ENTER> to unzip the ZFace
     files.
  3. Type ZFACE to start the program.

See ZFMANUAL.DOC for instructions on using ZFace.

To print the ZFace manual (ZFMANUAL.DOC - 10 pgs):

  1. Make sure your printer is on.
  2. Change to the directory where ZFace resides
     ex: cd c:\zipstuff
  3. Type zfprint and press <ENTER>

  V.2:  Improved mono screens.
        Select from list when updating or adding to existing zip
           files.

  V.4:  Fixed errant F10 key in view, unzip and zip2exe file

  V.71: Added capability to accept and validate all DOS filename
          characters and enhanced the editing features when

ZFace has been tested on a clone 386SX with VGA color and a clone
8088 with mono. It has been run from the DOS prompt, from PCTools
and in Desqview. Tested in DOS 3.1, 3.3 and 5.0. It should work
from any directory or disk.

*** On some older computers you may lock up if you try to access
a floppy drive while the drive door is open. This is NOT a
problem with newer computers. ***
